Bigger is Better I will NEVER settle for the little round ones again! I can apply my facial toner to my entire face, neck, chest, and hands with these larger oval pads! I also can remove fingernail polish on all 10 claws with 1 pad! These pads are almost as excellent as ULTA's cutomer service!
Falls apart I use large cotton pads like these to take off my face makeup - I squirt micellar water on them and wipe off my makeup before I wash my face. Something changed with these pads, because now the "quilted" side falls apart as I wipe my face. They weren't always like this, and I wish they'd bring back the old version of these pads because these are messy, as little pieces of cotton fall all over my sink while I wipe my face. (I know I could just use the smooth side, but that's not the point.)

I have been using these for awhile and I recently stocked up and used them again. I noticed that the facial pads were shedding and leaving cotton on my face and the cotton rounds were tearing apart very easy. It made me think I had bought the wrong ones. These used to be so good maybe I got a bad batch? :(

Was absolutely in LOVE with these! I don't know if their source for textile product changed or what but the "formula" seems to have changed. When using I like to have a more soaked pad when applying something like face toner or micellar water for removing residual face products and these pads seem to change from the original strong material. Now its more of a stereotypical cotton pad, even though it's still dual sided with one being textured and the other being smooth. It seems to soak up to the point where when any pressure is used in applying the liquid product, it starts breaking up.
A huge downside to this product for me is the fact theres quite a bit of lint when separating one from another. This is especially annoying if you're using to remove eye makeup since these bits of lint can get in your eyelashes. Aside from all this though I do like having a pack or two on hand for other purposes like my pets or first aid related.

I went in to repurchase the much smaller circular pads that were out of stock on the shelf. These are very nice but wasteful for my needs. I'll finish them but may needs to cut them in half. I am environmentally aware and don't like to put excess products into landfills.

These ULTA Beauty Collection Premium Oval Cotton Pads are the ones I've been using solidly for the last three years since I initially tried them. They are soft and perfect for toner and makeup removal. Plus, they are so affordable.
