I really like this brush
I really like this brush. At first I didn't think I would, but it does apply liquid foundation seamlessly for me.
Good until the bristles fell out
This was one of my favorite foundation brushes for a while, but it is not built to last. I take care of my brushes, but with time the bristles just started coming out. I have several other brushes from Ulta, and I can say the quality is overall pretty good. They are a nice and somewhat affordable option, as well as Real Techniques. I would definitely wait until they go on sale (they do often), when purchasing. But I am now on a hunt for a better quality foundation brush with a similar shape. I love the slanted head of this brush and it is somewhat dense but still flexible enough to apply foundation. The shape allows you blend while still getting close/precise around the lower lash line, around the brows and folds of the nose.
New favorite mulituse for creams and liquids
Fantastic smaller shape very soft. Apies foundation (just about all kinds) perfectly and then just about EVERYTHING else. It is named prowely. Precise! Yet very easy to use. I love it for contiur, bronzer, blush and as of today cream highlight.
Very Good Brush
Such good quality. The bristles are soft & flexible. Not too dense but dense enough to evenly smooth liquid & cream products around the face. It's about half the width I expected it to be, so personally it will be ideal for concealer blending purposes; under the eyes, around the nose & forehead. It's too small for me to use all over my face. I prefer slightly larger, denser brush to get the job done fast. The brush head is about 1.75 inches wide & about 1.5 inches long. The brush is comfortable to hold and pleasing to look at. I don't use cream blush, cream bronzer or cream highlight, but if I did I'd definitely use it for such products.
I love how the bristles are cut at an angle, making it ideal for soft Blending. It is essentially a much cheaper version of the BK brush that's shaped like this. The color of the handles are even the same. In fact, I've confused BK brushes for Ulta brushes in several YouTube videos. I haven't tried that brand of brushes to compare, but the Ulta version is amazingly soft and good quality. Exceptional for the price, really. Especially when you can get them 50% off like I did.
My favorite foundation brush!
I love the shape & density of this brush- works well with all my liquid foundations. Not too stiff, or too flimsy- just perfect!
So Soft and Good Width
Note this foundation brush is best for what I call "softer" foundations. It your product is thick, you'll really have to work to blend the coverage. But it's gentle on skin and you can feel the quality.
Good Foundation Brush
I typically use a sponge or cushion puff, but thought I would try out this brush due to its shape. The slant shape of the brush helps apply the foundation a bit more comfortably. Would love a smaller concealer brush version of this!
