For the most intense color, apply to clean bare lips. For more definition use applicator to line lips, then fill in with remaining color. Powermatte Lip Pigment is best removed with a gentle oil-free eye makeup remover.
Artist tips:
Pair with Nars Precision Lip Liner for added definition.
- If lining lips before applying Powermatte use a complementary shade for a line that helps guide the application and provide the most natural definition.
- If lining lips after applying Powermatte use a deeper or contrasting shade to change the effect of the Powermatte shade. This will create more shape and structure for the lip color.
Precautions: Shake well before use and open upright to avoid product spillage. Product may stain. Please make sure the cap is securely closed when product is not in use.

I was really excited to try this product as I am a long time NARS user. Even though the color looks great, the product takes a very long time to "stain" on the lips and it gets all over as if you're using a glossy lipstick. Also if it gets on your skin it is very difficult to get off. I had to keep checking my face to make sure I didn't look like the joker and it wasn't all over my chin.
