I LOVE this foundation and so happy it's at Ulta now! I wore this to my best friend's wedding and it lasted the entire day, even with the outdoor wedding with 90+ degree weather. I love the color range as it's hard for me to get a medium foundation that's not too pink or too yellow looking, but still very warm. I use G+50. For reference, my other foundation shades are Sand Beige in Milani Conceal+Perfect and Medium-Tan Sand in Tarte Shape Tape.
Coverage is medium-full, but still buildable and natural looking. You can put a lot on without it caking up, getting the right amount of coverage you need. My skin is combo/dry and unlike 99% of the other foundations I've used, it doesn't latch onto my dry patches or get mega oily in my T-zone. So hallelujah! It's definitely worth trying. I recently got the Power Play concealer and both of them together are PERFECTO. Only downside is it's a little annoying to get it out of the bottle. You kind of have to squeeze hard. Other than that it's perf.
I use to use Fenty Beauty foundation however my color match was a little off and I felt that Fenty wasn't matte enough. So I got matched with Cover Fx and at first I was very pleased with it. It matched me perfectly, felt lightweight and leans more towards full coverage than medium in my opinion - therefore a little went a long way with me. Another plus was that it isn't as runny as some other liquid foundations. However, being thicker means that it can be hard to move around once you put it on. I've been using it for about a month now and I've noticed that I've grain quite a bit of closed comdomes, and I believe it is from the Cover Fx foundation seeing as how I have not changed anything else in my routine. And now I'm noticing how much separating occurs on my face with this foundation, which occurs in just three or four hours of application.

I know this foundation isn't very mainstream but man I've tried Mac, nars, fenty, Bobby brown etc. This is the only foundation that I can laugh and smile with because it doesn't settle into my smile lines. Finally a foundation that doesn't do that! It looks so natural for an everyday look and it feels like nothing is there. It has a smell to it that's very flattering and not "chemical like". I powder under my foundation and I don't have to do that with this foundation. Just the milk hydro grip and the foundation. I've worn this foundation for 18 hrs because I'm crazy, but it works for my normal to oily skin

I've been using this foundation for years and each time I try to change it up, my skin always breaks out. This foundation is sweet proof and leaves a beautiful natural-matte finish. It also lasts me 4-6 months which is super convenient.
The ingredients are so clean and works great for my sensitive skin. I hope they never discontinue this amazing foundation.
There is no oxidation and it works beautifully with the matching concealer.

I struggled for so long to find a product and color that matches my skin tone, and this is IT. It's very light weight, super full coverage and buildable!!

I am not a fan of the power play foundation. For one, the color is a bit to light(which that's my fault). I find it very thick and almost feels more like a paste on the skin, and does not blend easily at all. I have tried it with a brush and a dampened beauty blender. It is heavily scented. (I have combo oily skin). I have tried it with and with out a primer and it just sits on top of the skin. I found that it sunk into my pores and really adhered to the dry areas on my face. I gave it quite a few tries, but I really just don't like it.

I use this product with a damped beauty blender and after with their Matt setting powder using a brush to put on and bake. This works wonders and last but no least to keep it longer and in place use a setting spray. Before these three steps I put my daily acne treatments too and SUNSCREEN!!!

I bought this foundation to try as my wedding day foundation and I couldn't be more impressed! I have normal to oily skin but I live in the south and it gets HOT. This foundation wears beautifully, even on days I am more oily or get sweaty. It's such a lightweight formula but packs a punch with full coverage. It definitely dries down matte but as the day goes on, it looks more and more natural. I usually forget I'm wearing makeup!

I take really good care of my skin and I bought this brand for that reason but I ended up breaking out in five different spots after wearing this make-up for two days.

I have to say- I'm quite surprised by how much I love this foundation! It's definitely in my top five. All I ever want in a foundation is a natural look without being cakey, which is pretty hard to find, but this does it. I have dry skin but this doesn't accentuate anything, it covers my mild rosacea, and it's totally buildable to a high-medium coverage. I really hope this foundation sticks around!

Makes me very sad that it's no longer in stores and only online but I love that they have a lot of sales on it here & there.I really love what this brand is about. I've been using this foundation for years now and I love it for work. Specially now that we wear masks I love that this foundation doesn't break me out. It's pretty medium coverage but definitely buildable.

i have oily, acne-prone skin. i paired this foundation with the mattifying + acne treatment primer. i noticed no increase in acne. in fact, it almost went away! when i stopped using makeup my acne came back so i think it became reliant on the salicylic acid in the primer.
when i first used it, it would separate and look a bit cakey. i would use a beauty blender to apply it.
to fix this, i switched to a blending brush. much better! it would separate on my cheeks and nose, so i would avoid applying it directly on there and instead using residual foundation left on the brush to fill it in. i would also use a moisturizer, cbd oil, sunblock, and the primer underneath which would create a good coat for it to glide on.
it works really well when used correctly! my favorite foundation from the ones i've tried.

HATE HATE HATE! I got recommended by this foundation by a worker because I wanted something that's full coverage, matte and obviously wanted to match my skin tone. Well this foundation was the opposite. Got home, tried it and not even close to my skin tone and not the type of foundation I was looking for. I rather stick to my old foundations (KVD, Too Faced, Huda Beauty)

I was not a fan of this foundation. it seemed to melt and settled in creases of my face.

I bought this product on a whim - though I am in search of the perfect foundation, I actually went to Ulta to buy the Perricone MD serum foundation. Once I discovered it's not sold in stores, I happened upon Cover FX with no prior knowledge about the brand or this product. I am pleasantly surprised by how much I love it. For reference, I love Nars soft matte and Elf Camo Cream. This definitely surpassed expectations and I would highly recommend if you're looking for something lightweight with good coverage. I have super oily skin, so I definitely have to either re-apply or powder during the day, but that's not a testament to the product - I have to do that no matter what I wear. Though it's a tad pricey, I have not found a less expensive alternative that beats this.

I have tried many, many, MANY different foundations for my oily, textured, aging skin. I've been looking for something with medium (buildable) coverage that doesn't make my face look cakey and doesn't melt off of my face - as SO many do. I love the natural finish (it's the perfect natural-meets-matte for me) and it certainly lasts all day, even in the sun. The only 'con' (if you want to call it that) is that it dries down pretty fast and blending it gets difficult if it sits on your skin too long. I apply it (with a beauty blender, mostly) in sections, rather than dabbing my entire face and then blending.

I got the shade P20 and it matched perfectly to my skin tone, so A+ on that. But, this foundation will accentuate your pores and fall into your smile lines within a hour.
Alexis from Minneapolis
Recently repurchased this foundation and forgot how much I absolutely love this product. It can be applied lightly just to cover my redness and smooth out imperfections. Most importantly, it actually matches my light, very cool (basically pink) skin tone. I've worn it under face masks, my winter hat and scarf, and even took a nap wearing it once and it still looked beautiful. My oily skin actually stays matte. This with the mystifying cover fx setting spray are absolutely magical.

This is my FAVORITE foundation!!! Whenever I want to look flawless, this is what I grab! It has such a smooth finish and the coverage lasts ALL DAY. Buy this. You need it. You won't regret it
M from North Carolina
Great coverage without a heavy feel and no cake face. Holds up all day. I don't have to worry about my face mask or a long shift breaking down the finish. Great color options to get a perfect match. Will be a go to foundation choice for me when I need good coverage to last all day!

It does not turn Orange on my face I'm not sure it because I have medium tan skin color.
Diane from Philadelphia
I am a normal skin overall except my bose. it gets oily. 100N is like skin, it's the perfect match! The only other perfect match is the now defunct Cover girl Queen Collection. Not only does it not slip and slide, there is minimal transfer and a little goes a long way. the tube kind of sucks though. I have to squeeze really hard.
Kayleigh from MA
It could be a great product but I was recommended the wrong color and many times. I ended up going w the darkest option they would even consider for me and it's FAR too light.. but you can't try anything so it's so hard to tell!! I can't even use it
AS from Fayetteville
Didn't match my skin and even though the product is expensive, it looks like a cheap paste on your face.
Morgan from Dallas Tx
I got recommended this foundation. I heard it's a really good foundation that doesn't get much hype. I tried it for about a week and noticed the color didn't match my face, it seemed like it kept getting darker throughout the day. Coverage was minimum for me. Faded very easily. I also started breaking out in places I normally don't break out. When I applied with a wet sponge a felt it was really hard to spread on my face. Returning ASAP
Randi J from Austin
I've definitely found my go-to!
It's full coverage, with a great matte finish. And has an awesome shade range.
I love that it's vegan and cruelty free as well
Ally from Missouri
Not sure if it was how I applied it or the coverage is tricky to work with in my oily zones.
