How To Use

Hydration Shampoo Suggested Use: Massage vigorously into scalp & wet hair. Add more water as needed to work product through the hair. Rinse thoroughly. Wash a second time as desired. Follow with your preferred PATTERN conditioner. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water.
Heavy Conditioner Suggested Use: Apply to wet hair from roots to ends. For extra dense curls or long hair, section with PATTERN Hair Clip while conditioning to ensure every strand gets the love it deserves. Use PATTERN Shower Brush or fingers to help detangle & bring curls together. Rinse thoroughly.
Pro tip: For dry or brittle hair, leave conditioner on for 10 minutes as a repair treatment mask to help restore & revitalize your curls.
Leave-In Conditioner Suggested Use: Apply to soaking wet, conditioned hair evenly distributing to all strands.
Pro tip: Cocktail in a few drops of PATTERN Argan Oil Hair Serum with Leave-In Conditioner for an extra moisture boost on wet hair.

I'm glad I got the trail sizesI had been wanting to try the powder in line for a while I have been using Cantu religiously for years, but it lately it has been starting to dry my hair out so I wanted to get something else to try. The nice lady working at Ulta was helping me pick out some thing because I was explaining to her house having problems with my hair being dry and she was explaining her daughter hair thicker hair than I have and I have pretty thick coarse hair so she was saying that she likes the conditioner and she uses the oil with it I didn't purchase the oil but I did purchase the trial pack.I had been wanting to try the pattern line for a while I have been using Cantu religiously for years, but it lately it has been starting to dry my hair out so I wanted to get something else to try. The nice lady working at Ulta was helping me pick up some thing because I was explaining to her I was having problems with my hair being dry ,she was explaining that her daughter has thicker hair than I have and I have pretty thick coarse hair . she was saying that she likes the conditioner and she uses the oil from the line ,I didn't purchase the oil but I did purchase the travel pack , The shampoo smells really nice I know some people say it was like flowers but to me it kind of smells like banana peels. I will most likely purchase the shampoo conditioner and leave in conditioner and try the oil. Definitely not a bad line I definitely want to give a couple more items a try !Worth a try on 3b hair, but don't get your hopes up too highMY HAIR: Very thick, medium-coarse, 3C color-treated hair HYDRATING SHAMPOO - In fairness, I started with a 5-week-old(!!) blow-out, so there was a lot of work to be done. After two shampoos, my hair felt soft and squeaked a little. It still didn't smell great, though. My hair was easier to detangle than usual in the next step. Grade: B+ CONDITIONER FOR COILIES - I conditioned my hair, used a Denman-style brush detangle, and wore a plastic cap outside of the shower for 15 minutes. My hair felt very soft and smooth after rinsing. I kept rinsing because I wasn't sure it was all gone. Grade: A- LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER - I applied it praying-hands style on sopping wet hair, brushed it through with the Denman style brush to promote curl, and followed up with the Pattern Curl Gel (not included). It is very thin going on, and I had to apply a LOT for coverage. Grade: C (I wouldn't recommend that anyone with thick hair or curls tighter than 2c use the leave-in by itself as a cowash or a conditioner. The Conditioner for Coilies is the MVP of this line!) DRYING: Initially, my hair looked awful while air drying! It was frizzy with zero curls. I was so disappointed! I would never have left the house with my hair in that condition, and I always let my wash-and-go dry on its own throughout my day. I had a 2-hour-long video meeting and turned my camera off the whole time. Before my meeting, I added a mousse product from another line to promote the curl a bit. I planned to use the diffuser when I was out of my meeting, but by then, my hair was about 50% dry and the curls began to look better. I let my hair air dry for another 6 hours before bed. I slept in a satin bonnet. RESULTS: The next morning, my curls are defined and plump, and I only have a tiny bit of frizz at the top. I believe my curl definition is from my tried-and-trusted mousse that I used after all of the Pattern products. I'd say give Pattern a try with moderated expectations.

I've been on the hunt for a new hair care line, and I loved that I could get trial sizes before needing to purchase the big ones. My hair loved the shampoo and heavy conditioner. Sectioning my hair off helped to work the product through. The shampoo cleansed my scalp without leaving my hair feeling dry or brittle.

I got this upon recommendation of an ULTA hair salon stylist who really did magic on my partner's neglected and dried out curls. Needing a heavy conditioner to hold his tight curls well, I picked this kit up for him. This finally convinced him to stop stealing my shampoo and conditioner (which I told him constantly was destroying his hair because I have products for my straight hair). He's been very happy using this AND not needing to wash his hair so frequently anymore. Truly turned his hair around and looking health and moisturized with lots of shiny coils now that his shrinkage to restore his curl pattern is consistently maintained. The restoration of his hair was so good that even his mother needed to use some of this while we were travelling and I got her this set, and we'll see if his sister will be taking some with her too. I've got him stocked up on this in full sizes now, and he is happy using this line on deep wash days while using Kreyole Essence cowash and the hair milk in between.

I recently did alot of blonde highlights in my hair and needed moisture and slip bc I have very knotty curly hair. This helped with the moisture and hydration. I had just washed my hair after being straight for 1.5 week so it wasn't knotty but my curls look so good. Love these products but I think i will try the medium conditioner instead bc the heavy one is too cream based and I need more softness.
