I am 20 years old, and have had very severe acne scarring. I go to the dermatologist, and have everything from Retina, Tazorac, special cleansers, and sulfar-based lotions (for those of you familiar with dermatologist products). I was so desperate to get rid of my scarring, that I decided to try this to even my skin tone and lighten my scars. WOW! Im only on DAY 4, and my scars are already 35% better! Everyone around me, after DAY 2, started complimenting me on how good my skin looked! (and I wasnt wearing any makeup)
The routine I started:(NIGHTLY, after evening cleanse)
I get a facecloth and soak it under hot water. I ring out the excess water, then place the towel on my face to open my pores. I quickly pat my face dry with a seperate towel, and then apply the oil generously. I resoak the towel in steaming hot water, squeeze out all the excess water again, and place it on my face (now that the oil is on) and let it steam my face and open my pores to let the oil seep into my skin. When the towel has lost its heat, I do this a second time. Then, I leave my skin AS IS. Let it dry naturally, so that as my pores close up and any leftover oil on the surface remains on the surface or closes into my pores.
I read many reviews and was so disappointed. Used on my legs for age spots from sun damage and also stretch marks on my stomach from pregnancy. The first 3 days was fine, smell was a little strong for me but I was determined to use this 2 times a day and see awesome results like everyone seems to be saying. Well about the 4th day I noticed a rash on my stomach and 5th day noticed it spread brown on the front of my legs and all the way down to feet. Rash also spread around to back of legs and back of knees, & HOLY COW !!!! I had no idea what it was and it kept getting worse and itchy and spreading. The only thing different I could figure out was the oil, and the rash is only in the spots where I applied the oil. I thought... huh, no way! Well, upon further reviews I found a huge group of people describing red itchy bumps that appeared after a few days of use also. So user beware, try on a patch of skin for 4 days or so and see how your skin reacts to the oil. So disappointed people didn't even comment on some of these major sites about some negative things. So please test before using on a large area, especially since I normally never have sensitive or problem skin. Have not used in about 4 days and the rash is still really red, bumpy and spreading, hoping it goes away quickly.

This stuff is the real deal! A little goes a long way and using it consistently really lifts the scarring discoloration on my shoulders, thighs and bum. It rubs into the skin very well. 10/10 recommend and would buy again.

My skin loves this oil! I workout 5x a week so I sometimes end up showering up to two times in one day. I put this on after every shower and my skin feels amazing! It leaves my legs and arms so soft and moisturized! It has also done wonders for my dry hands during the pandemic! Where has this been all my life!!

I don't know why I ever stopped using this. I use it on the knees and dark spots on my body after I shower and moisturize for added protection. It's too early to tell how fast it works at fading those spots but I know it will do well.

This oil worked really well on my face acne scars, I'm not saying they completely disappeared, but it did make them much clear. I heard this is not good for your face because one or another ingredient, that's why a stoped using it. But if you wanna give it a trie then do it and see how it works for you. I didn't use it on my stretch mark or anything more than my face.

I use this product most nights, especially after face shaving and exfoliating. This is amazing for re texturizing the skin on face AND body. My skin has definitely leveled up in suppleness, smoothness and evenness

Tried it as a facial moisturizer and within 2 days it broke me out in red rashes and bumps. Strong scent to it, don't use if you have sensitive skin.

DUDE. my friend hyped this up to me as really good for acne scars. I have some very long-term damage from the past 10+ years of skin excoriation disorder aka I mess with every bump on my body and that has scarred up my back and face in particular. I am less than halfway through the large bottle size (a few months of regular use after showering) and my back scars have NOTICEABLY faded from dark red to pink. I'm insanely pale so those dark red scars always look like active blemishes/wounds and made me really insecure about swimsuits/outfits with back exposure but I'm super excited to feel more confident this summer. I'm sure I will see more progress with continued use. If you have acne scarring you will not regret buying this — I was skeptical and I am honestly thrilled something is working.

This is such a great for pregnancy to prevent stretch marks and also to prevent other scarring from a acne or a simple scratch. As for acne, mineral oil is non comedogenic, so no it will NOT clog your pores. There's a ton of bad hype and misinformation on mineral oil out there.... most of which are not true!
That being said, there are no studies evaluating the effectiveness of it in treating acne. There is no reason to think it would affect acne in a positive or negative way. It may help soothe dry & irritated skin.... everyone's skin reacts differently.
My only complaint is it dose have essential oils, which are known to cause skin irritation, more specifically those with skin conditions like sensitivity from having rosacea and current inflammation & irritation from severe acne, sunburn, windburn, etc. These essential oils are most likely reason why some people are having a reaction. It's not necessarily the mineral oil but another ingredient in the product.... like the essential oils that are triggering a reaction like acne. When it comes down to it. I prefer jojoba oil as it's a multipurpose product when applying to the face. However, mineral oil is not going to clog your pores and it is safe to use. Cosmetics-grade mineral oil and petrolatum are considered the safest, most non-sensitizing moisturizing ingredients ever found! It's completely safe, soothing, non-sensitizing, and perfectly beneficial for skin.

I was born with psoriasis and I've had it my entire life. I've been trying to get rid of my stretch marks and I'm usually allergic to lotions, so I thought I would try an oil. Up until now I've been using Palmer's tummy butter with no issue. But 2-3 uses of this bio oil and I had a huge allergic reaction to it and my psoriasis flared up. I can say the oil itself isn't sticky or greasy and it does smell pretty good, I'm just disappointed that I'm allergic to it :(

I've been using this skin remedy on my face, chest, and hands nightly. I can tell my skin has become more even and less likely to have those dry patches/breakouts. I feel I can tell a difference in my forehead being super smooth too.

Great oil! I've struggled with stretch marks and recently I had gotten some fresh ones and decided to give this oil a try. It really helped to reduce the appearance and looks like their fading away. Consistency with this product is key though to see results. Also helps burn marks!

I hate the filmy feeling of lotions and cremes, but I'm getting older and need to moisturize (in my thirties). Decided to try body oils and this is definitely a great one. I use it as a moisturizer for my entire body. It doesn't really feel like it's moisturizing (I don't get the feeling of it "soaking in"), but after a few uses my skin feels and looks soft and healthy - so it does work. I've been using it for a few years now and it's about doubled in price since I started buying it, but it's still worth the price. The only reason it's not a five star review is because it really does have an "old lady" scent. Fortunately, the smell is mild and doesn't linger very long.

This is a good product that absorbs into the skin and is not oily. It takes a small amount so it lasts a long time.

I used this was when I was pregnant, and now using it for multiple different things. It moisturizes face and neck, helps to minimize scarring & stretch marks, and I also use it on my psoriasis!

I bought this for my pregnant friend. After she tried it she admitted she was nervous to try it because it's oil and thought it'd leave her feeling too oily. But she said she was surprised that it did not. We don't really have any results past that at the moment though.
