Decent Hold....STRONG OdorI finally decided to splurge on myself and try Dry Bar products and I read review after review on every product of theirs that Ulta sells and decided to try this hairspray after straightening my hair. My hair is REALLY short since I just finished chemo treatments and it's in that weird in between place where it's too short to put up or really do anything with, but long enough that I needed to do something with it cuz it will poof out like I haven't ever combed it (no matter how many times I comb it). I found the smell to be REALLY strong and it has lingered all day but the hold really hasn't. It also has made my scalp itch a lot more than normal (I've dealt with dry scalp cuz of chemo) and it made my hair feel dry and straw-like. The hold has been decent enough that I want to continue to use it, but the smell is going to make me start using it outside. After this can runs out, I'm going to try one of the other ones. I hope they smell better and hold my style in place longer. This is the first time I've used heat on my hair in a year and a half, so I know my hair isn't dry from styling it all the time. Next time, I'll try spraying it on my hands and working it through my hair, concentrating on the ends but I hope the smell will wash off my hands. I'm very sensitive to smells right now. I would love to give this product 5 stars (especially cuz of the price), but the smell and the way it makes my hair feel warrants 4. It is lightweight though, which I love, so it don't wear all my "new" hair down. I would recommend it to someone not as sensitive to smells though.Formula is awesome,can is terrible, nozzle plugs constantly!Help Drybar! You have a great formula but need a new nozzle that will accommodate the stickiness of the formula without clogging.Smells great,holds style in place does'nt lock it in place hence it is a styling spray.

Didn't work for me

I have thick fine hair and 45 mins after curling and finishing w this, my curls came undone. I kid you not, my curls have lasted longer without any hairspray before. The smell is soooo strong. Afraid what it did to my lungs. Geez tone it down. I feel cheated because this is so expensive and doesn't do its job. Next, I'm going to get it's a 10 brand because it has better reviews.

I would purchase this product again.

I was a little concerned about the price of the "Hair Spray". I used my Ulta reward points. Now I'm very happy that the Ulta Associate suggested it. It not only provided the hold .. It gave my hair a little shine and my hair still had a bounce to it. Yes.. Try it.. You will love it.
