Most Helpful Positive Review It works! First things first, you MUST use the top coat with polish for it to work 100%. I noticed some bad reviewers weren't using top coat. Second, you MUST allow for the polish to completly dry between coats (I let it dry 10 minutes between coats and do 3-4 coats)Then a final coat of the special topcoat and let it dry THOROUGHLY. I am talking a good two hours. Also it does say you need "natural light" during dry time. Something like a window on a sunny day... That makes a huge difference. I did it last night after dark and used a table lamp to "cure" it and it worked "OK". I have a couple pitting areas where I think my sheets were touching overnight. I just covered the spots with a nail art sticker and another clear coat and you can't even tell. Most days I do this on Saturday morning and it truely does come out perfect if done right. I do notice chipping around day 7 but honestly I work in health care and my hands go through a lot. So color me impressed.
Another thing I haven't seen mentioned in the reviews is that you can use the special gel top coat with REGULAR nail polish also. I had some Sally's Wine Hard as Nails stuff that I loved the color but it would chip literally the next day. I used two coats of the regular wine and the gel top coat and I swear I got sick of it before it wore off! It lasted 8 days before I finally took it off. So that alone is a super bonus aspect to buying this. I was worried I'd never use my other colors again so that's good news.
I think you realy just have to set aside some quality time to this right to get the proper results. If done correctly it will hold up way better than reg. polish alone. All my old top coats are trashed now.
You can not use a base coat with this and make sure your nails are free of anything. File the edges and CAP off the polish and it'll go the distance.
The 14 days of wear slogan is a bit far fetched and I can only assume it's for those who can baby their nails all day. I am not one of them, but hey... I'm happy with 7 days!

I got this as a result of all the reviews i read..i am so dissapointed..its not cheap and not worth it.after 3 days the nail polish chipped of the top and on one nail half of the paint is gone. i attache a pic.Followed the instructions to the tee.i do my own nails and i do the same thing even add a base coat before polish but this time i didn t as per instructions.I have 20 opi nail colors and i can tell you that the apple red holds off way more.I have a toddler and i do a lot with my hands and i was really hoping this gel was it!it wasn t...i ll never buy it again bcoz it is expensive and not worth it,:(

I had the acrylic nails on and took off so my nails were super thin. I just wanted a coating on top of my nail to give it some strength. I got this gel polish and top coat and it has lasted for 4 days now, no chips at all. I wash my hands constantly and hand wash dishes too, still going strong.

Bottle says 8 day wear. I got 7 and was thrilled for that! Other polish will not last more than 3\4 days, including professional manicures.

I got about six nail polish bottles from this brand, and I love them! It's my favorite nail polish brand, considering I have been painting my nails every week for about five years now. However, one of the bottles arrived damaged, and the top of the bottle was stuck under the lid. unfortunately, I can't use it almost at all, but it's okay :)

Saw this on a friend and I was a little skeptical since I usually have bad luck doing my nails at home. I am now a convert! This formula is easy, forgiving and long-lasting. The shade range is growing and I can't stop buying more colors. I'm thrilled with how much money I'm saving on manicures - I think that justifies buying more colors :)

Manufacturing rules- no polish from Chicago
I work in a manufacturing facility and the rule is no fake nails or nail polish. I do not work in direct contact with any equipment and needed something I could get away with no one noticing I had it on. THIS IS PERFECT! I get the protection for my very weak and thin nails and it doesn't raise any eyebrows with management! If you work in manufacturing and need the extra protection and strength, this is your answer! No shine to it at all! Can't tell you're wearing anything unless you're hiking your hand up to your face!

I purchased this in shade One Shell of a Party. Online the color was very pretty, but I followed the directions and after two coats I could still see my nail underneath the polish. I had to apply three more coats in order to have full coverage. I also purchased the top coat and applied that as well. After three days, the color started chipping off. I corrected the nails that were chipped and left the polish on for about 10 days before removing it with nail polish remover. After removing the polish my nails started peeling and breaking easily. I am not sure if that is a coincidence but have never had that with any other nail polish or remover before. I had to cut all my nails and hope they grow back normal. I feel like I wasted my money on this nail polish and top coat and have opted to try a more expensive brand in hopes I get better results.

I had seen that this polish got great reviews but it has completely blown me away! I never leave reviews but I had to on this one. I have had my polish (a base coat and 3 coats of this) on for longer than my UV gels would last! I don't have to soak the polish off!

I purchased this while looking for new nail polish that would last at LEAST a few days. I kid you not, I painted my nails as the instructions say (2 coats of step 1, 1 coat of step 2) and it was so sheer I can see my nail color under every single nail. On top of that, I had the paint on my nails for about 4 hours and looked down to see 5/10 nails were completely chipping towards the top of the nail. I will be returning this nail polish and opting for the more expensive higher quality brands like OPI. I had high hopes because reviews were great, but sometimes you won't know until you try for yourself.

I was concerned about how dark it appears in the bottle but when applied, it is very pretty. Nice dark wine color. IMO it does not require a 2nd coat but you can.

I bought this in a baby pink color and it was so sheer. I had high hopes for this product. It would probably work great in a darker color but i was overall disappointed

As a massage therapist, my hands and nails go through a lot. Constant washing, drying, scrubbing, and filing barely has an effect on my manicure! Not to mention the amount of oils/lotions on my hands every day. Any other brand chips but with this polish I get a minimum 7 days of wear…by then I'm usually ready for a different color anyway. I always put 3 coats, especially for the metallic shades bc the formula is more watery than the solids.

I am really impressed with how long this helps my manicures last. I get at least 10 days out of it and would probably be more if I didn't pick at the edges of my polish. It goes on really easily and leaves a nice hard to finish. I use it with any other brand of colored polish. I like the wide brush and it makes application dummy proof.

This is by far my favorite top coat. Firrst coat dries a little uneven on a bare nail (could be cause I didn't clean my nail before applying it) but after a few coats it's very smooth and shiny.

the devil is in the details... the speckles brush off as you are applying. you almost have to "drop" the coat of polish on to be able to even get the speckles. cant stroke it out or you lose the specks. it also still requires a top coat so you cant use this over one of the other neat cruella colors to create a Dalmatian appearance.

I've been using this for a while with SH gel polishes and with other brand non-gel polishes and it really helps maintain my manicures. I also like the shine. I've tried pricier gel top coats that don't perform as well as this one. This my go to.

While this nail polish lasts longer, for me, than regular nail polish and top coat, the colors look nothing like they do online. the "electric lime" neon green looks more pistachio light green. The beet,pray, love looks dusty rose and the pink stiletto looks pinkish purple leaning more toward the purple. My advice is to buy in person.

This color looks great on my toes. Haven't tried it on my nails yet but will soon. Did apply two coats to get the darkest shade. Definitely recommend this brand and this shade. Very pretty and a little different than the color I normally wear. Very happy.

I love the color of this polish so much it's absolutely perfect for fall! Would definitely recommend the gel top coat as well, and doing at least 3 coats make it look like tasteful fake nails!

The ONLY downside is ....67 colors and they don't have a dark purple (think OPI Lincoln Park After Dark) ... I typically get a week+ of no chip wear and I am rough on my hands - I like both the shiny and matte finish options! Plus - no need for the cancer causing UV lamp!!! I bring it to the nail salon and when I go weekly and they comment on how well it stays on!! I only go weekly bc my nails grow out not bc the polish chips. Also comes off easily w regular polish remover.
