Leaves your skin soft, feeling hydrated. Smells so fresh and clean. I wash my face with my regular cleanser followed by toner and my skin feels amazing when I'm finished. Taking my makeup off doesn't seem like a shore anymore lol.
Some tips:
-Use a cotton pad to remove heavy/waterproof make up. (Might have to do this 2x if you are wearing a lot/waterproof makeup)
-start with small nickel/quarter size amounts of product, work in sections. It's very creamy but as soon as you start rubbing it it turns very very liquid(runny). Working with small amounts of product in sections helps you control and not waste product.
-once you have applied(rubbed) product all over your face wash it off (cold or warm water, I honestly have done both and it works great either way).
***If you have specially long-wearing/ foundation/ eye makeup or if you are wearing A LOT of make up (thick layers of foundation or a lot of/waterproof mascara/eyeliner) you might need to repeat process at least once more to get all the makeup completely off.
-definitely wash your face with a cleanser after to make sure your face is 100% clear of all makeup.
Most Helpful Critical Review If only it wasn't so watery... I've been using this makeup melt for about two weeks now as step one of my double cleanse (the oil cleanser I was using was discontinued). I actually think it does a great job at breaking down my makeup but I really can't stand the consistency! I have to apply it right from the bottle to my dry face (forehead, massage, cheek, massage, next cheek, massage...) or else it ends up running down my wrists and arms! Which helps, but not entirely. It runs through my fingers if I try to put it in my hands first then apply to my face. Even if I try to run my hands together first to disperse the product before applying... still runs right through my fingers. It's a waste of product but also a total pet peeve of mine, water (product in this case) running down my forearms as I wash my face.
So long story short... Even though it works, I'm not sure it's worth tolerating the watery consistency. Once this bottle is empty I'll probably look for something else.

I'm almost finished the bottle but I really felt like this didn't break down my make up/remove it. You have to use a lot of the product just to get it to work. I loved their other make up remover that was the neutrogena naturals. That worked so well but it's been hard to find. Overall I didn't like this product and wished it had worked better

People with acne-prone skin, beware! While this product did remove makeup, after 3 days of use I developed cystic acne all over my face. I am in my late 20s and had minor facial acne as a teenager but never cystic acne and never over my entire face! This was hands down the worst acne of my entire life. Immediately after discontinuing this product, my face began to heal. After 2 weeks all the acne was gone, but now I am left with a bunch of new scars! If you have ever struggled with acne, do not go anywhere near this product!

Doesn't remove makeup at all, even regular mascara. I was so hopeful since Neutrogena discontinued their previous makeup remover/face wash that was awesome. Bring it back, this stuff is terrible.
Good but not perfect... 4

I actually really liked this product in a lot of ways once I figured out the proper way to use it. Like other reviewers have said, it's best to work in small sections with smaller amounts of product so as to not waste it.
In terms of the eyes, you *have* to use a cotton ball or pad. That'll help keep the product from getting into your eyes, which probably does burn since it's a foreign object. A few other reviewers have mentioned their eyelids burning, but I haven't personally experienced this and I have *extremely* sensitive skin. Like, other brands of micellar water have made me break out into a rash levels of sensitive.
My only issue is that it's not super great for waterproof makeup. I feel like I have to use more and kinda scrub a bit to get the heavier stuff off, which kinda defeats the purpose imo, and why this gets 4 instead of 5 stars.
Overall, though, I really like this and would definitely buy it again

This does not remove my makeup it simply just moves it around. It doesn't remove my normal makeup or my waterproof makeup. I've used it time and time again with no success.
Cooling and Refreshing 5

I received this for free, not really expecting much of it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I don't reccomend this for removing makeup alone, just as a follow-up for leftover makeup after cleansing or another remover. It has a nice cooling effect that I love in the morning.
I saw some reviews saying it burns eyes. To avoid that, put a small amount on a cotton pad and then fold it in half so the product soaks in/spreads around the cotton pad. I've never had issue with it burning with this method.

It is super runny so you have to use a lot to get it to work and it burns your eyes SO BAD. not worth it.
Don't recommend for eyes 2

It burned my eyes and even with the cotton pads it takes forever to take off I would only use for face makeup

Had high hopes for this but it literally took no makeup off of my skin and stung my eyes. I should have returned it but I just tossed it in the trash.

Thought this would be thicker but it's very watery. It was okay, but definitely need to cleanse twice. Did burn my eyes a bit and left a white residue on my lashes no matter how much I washed them. I'm returning it
BURNS YOUR EYES 1
Eye burning from Long Island
BURNS YOUR WHOLE EYE/ EYELIDS SO BADLY. just get ankciellsr water because the burning is so bad it outweighs the makeup removing.

It's pretty good at removing make up but it does burn your eyes a little bit. Doesn't smell too good either.

I am so glad hometesterclub picked me to try this Neutrogena makeup melting micellar cleansing milk. I tend to get dry skin sometimes and this seemed to be perfect for it. Definitely moisturized my skin and didn't leave it feeling overly oily. I will be buying this after my sample is gone. This literally melted the makeup right off. Must try!

Overall the micellar cleansing milk did what it was supposed to do. It worked pretty well on my face but not so great on mascara unfortunately. You have to scrub with cotton pads, which i loathe.
