This is a steal! It is a great blending sponge in my opinion. It is firmer than a Beauty Blender, but I actually kind of like that. Also, it has a great "chisel" tip that lets you get in smaller areas, like under the eyes or around the nose. I love the price, and find the shape is very functional. I know beauty sponges really should be replaced frequently (even when washed regularly), so it is so great to find a great bargain option. I find this one and the EcoTools blender are both great options for less!
This sponge is a super cute color and provides a nice edge for small places like under the eye. Unfortunately it's too dense and hard to wet and squeeze out properly. If you aren't a beginner you can still make it work but it's a challenge. The price point is so low it's almost worth it.

I absolutely love this sponge. I think I am on my 10th or 11th one. Firm when dry and soft when wet. Does a great job at blending and dabbing without lifting make up. This is my go to. I always buy 2 or 3 at a time.

I had high hopes for this product as I buy quite a few items from essence. Without wetting it, it was hard. I knew I couldn't judge the sponge by not having it wet so I wet it. It does expand fairly nice I have to say, but it still remained really hard! Don't recommend this item

I don't know why people are saying it's hard. When wet enough, I thought it was super soft. Doesn't cake or absorb too much product. Set my concealer with powder and it blended like a dream!

So far, I've only used one for foundation blending. We more mature women, especially, need to be sure foundation doesn't sit in creases... that just makes you look old. This was great for that! The second one I got, I plan to use to blend creamy blush.

This worked really well for what I purchased it for. I use it to blend out cream blush and further blend edges of cream bronze/contour. I don't know if is use this to apply foundation or concealer because of the texture of the sponge. For that I'd use real techniques or Morphe!

Blends out my product very easily and doesn't really absorb the product.

The sponge is very stiff even if u wet it but it's not horrible

It works if you have nothing else. Very stiff. A little smaller than the average sponge as well imo. Elf, real techniques, and eco tools sponges are around the same price I suggest you get one of those instead.

Okay first off hella cute packaging, it's a very soft and smooth sponge. Blended in my foundation beautifully, I got nothing negative to say.

This sponge is extremely stiff, does not blend and absorbs most of your foundation. This is a hard pass for me. There are other affordable beauty sponges worth every penny this is definitely not one of them.

I don't use blenders much in my routine but when I contour I need to use one. First of all when wet I was shocked at how big it expanded. It blended my contouring on my cheeks perfectly. The flat side for baking picked up the loose powder well. The flat side is just the right shape and size for baking under the eyes. For the price, you can't go wrong.

This sponge is extremely hard and stiff. It did not blend out product it left streaks on my face and it absorbed almost all my product. This is horrible and not worth it at all.

Soaks all the foundation and doesn't blend well at all
KK from *Makeup Enthusiast*
It definitely got the job done, but I had to put in sooo much effort and ended up going over it with a brush anyway. For me it was way too firm to blend out my liquid foundation and concealer, plus it absorbed so much product. I'd rather use the Eco Tools or Real Techniques sponges which are softer and more effortless to use. This one just wasn't worth it, especially considering I still needed to use a brush, plus it wasted so much product. Ended up throwing it away after the first try.

I love this makeup sponge it blends everything beautifully!
Ki from New York
It's a very firm sponge and it's great for blending out stick foundations that are a little harder to blend out with a brush. It's also very good at blending and placing powder under eye and on the forehead and chin and if you want to carve out your contour
Disappointed from Owensboro, KY
This sponge felt like I was trying to apply powder with a rock. Even after wetting it. It did not blend my makeup & left me looking cakey. I would not recommend this to anyone!
