Beautiful Finish!

The finish is smooth, radiant, and easily comparable to high-end brands, honestly, it feels like a potential dupe for the Haus Labs foundation. Overall, a fantastic find for anyone looking for a luxury-like finish on a budget!
Pretty good foundation, but shade 27 True Caramel runs a bit
I choose this NYX Make 'Em Wonder Soft Matte Foundation in shade 27 True Caramel because I love affordable, buildable options with a natural matte finish. The bottle is cute with that vibrant purple cap, and the formula feels lightweight and skincare-infused—there's hyaluronic acid and guarana in there, which is a nice touch for hydration without feeling greasy. The coverage is truly buildable: sheer to medium, and it layers up nicely without getting cakey. It blends super easily with a sponge or brush, gives a soft, blurred matte look that feels breathable, and holds up well throughout the day with minimal shine (great for my combo skin). It doesn't transfer much and looks like skin rather than makeup, which I appreciate. That said, the shade ended up being a little darker than I expected for my tone. I thought True Caramel would be a closer match based on online swatches, but it pulls slightly deeper and warmer than my natural undertone, making it look a touch off in natural light. I can still make it work by applying sparingly and blending well (or mixing with a lighter shade), but it's not a perfect one-and-done match like I'd hoped. Overall, solid drugstore foundation with impressive performance for the price—worth trying if the shade works for you. Just double-check swatches in person if possible!
Nyx Soft Matte
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love this foundation on whole well it blends out on my skin. It feels like I'm not wearing anything. My only problem is that the cloud did not match my skin but after additional make up I was able to make it work. I would definitely recommend it's affordable and it does an amazing job. I also love the packaging and how different it is and hope it comes out smoothly and you work well with my make-up remover.
Product fell flat in the end..
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This was a pretty good foundation, I'm just not as a big of a fan as I thought I would've been for the nozzle tip applicator. It takes quite a bit to squeeze out product and I'd imagine it would feel even worse for anyone with arthritis. It really takes away from the final outcome for me with the foundation, and it makes me less likely to reach for it. Hopefully NYX can make the packaging a little more easier on the hands.

But i was so wrong. It was smooth and nice and buildable. I was pretty impressed as I have never had something this nice from this brand before. The color also looked great and photographed well! Im satisfied and definitely recommend it!
