Most Helpful Positive Review read the instructions I was hesitant to try these but they were recommended to me by a friend. I am not an expert with liquid liner so I applied my regular liner first and then the liquid on top. Make sure to read the instructions. It says to apply 2 coats and apply the lashes when the liner is semi dry. They worked great for me. They don't hold for more than about 8-9 hours but just re-apply another layer of liner for a quick touch up. Kind of a pain to get the liner off at the end of the day but oil based make up remover takes it right off.
Most Helpful Critical Review A Definite NO For Me! I am not a novice at applying lashes; on my self, or on a client. I wanted to see if I would like magnetic lashes as an option to traditional adhesive lashes. The first problem was that there needs to be more magnets on the lash itself. They would not hold for more than a few minutes before either the outer corner or inner corner lifted. I gave up after a few attempts. Later in the evening when I went to remove my eye makeup, the liner was a nightmare to remove; even with coconut oil as a do every day.. Needless to say the next morning I woke up with seriously inflamed eyelids. As someone who is NOT sensitive to nearly anything, I was shocked at how irritated my eyes were from the liner. I will need to stick with traditional lashes & lash glue.. This was a never again for me.

The lashes are nice but the liquid liner that came with the magnetic lashes did NOT adhere the lashes securely to my lash line. I tried repeatedly with no success. The liquid liner does not have the gripping power strength of a regular adhesive. I ended up buying regular lash adhesive to successfully adhere the lashes.

You may get one hour wear out of them but it was embarrassing when they fail off right in the middle of dinner.
Never stuck 1

The eyeliner created a mess on my eyelids once I tried to put the eyelashes on. They never latched on. Ugh!!
Awful 1

Absolutely awful. Directions say to apply two coats of liner for them to stickā¦.after at least 4 I still couldn't get them to stick. The liner is difficult to apply in a manner that looks nice (and I've done liquid black liner nearly every day for 17 years) and difficult to remove. I had the process of glue on lashes so was looking for another option but I'd so much rather do glue.
Prefer old fashioned glue on type 2

Prefer old fashioned glue type. Wanted a natural Luik but these are too long
Would give this less than one star if it was possible. 1

Biggest waste of money ever the lashes do not stick to the liner, little to no help from sales associate in the store she just pointed in the general direction. Ulta should not even carry these, what a waste!

You need a very thick application of the eyeliner to have them stick, but even then the ends would come up. Definitely would not purchase again.
I just can't work them, the corner just wouldn't stay down. 3

I love the eyelashes but I have to have someone to put them on me
This product is ok 3

This product did work for me, but you do have to apply a thick line of eyeliner for them to really stay. And the eyeliner is a little hard to control. But I think these will work for the occasion I bought them for.

Very hard to apply and did not stay on long. Looked great when actually on but will be returning item.
Doesn't seem strong enough 1

I really wanted to love these. I tried so hard to make them work multiple ways including following the directions to a T. No matter what I did the inner corner of both eyes would pop up and in general the hold was not very good. I'm not sure if it's the liner or the magnets on the lash that is the problem because this is the only magnetic lash product I have tried. I do believe there could be more magnets on the actual lash though. I wanted to trim them to fit better but trimming either side results in cutting off a magnet, making the hold even weaker, so I didn't.
Fell off after a few hours of wear 2

They look great and very natural, but after a little over 2-3 hours of wear the corner magnets came undone. I had to continuously reapply the eyeliner and they kept falling off. I tried wearing just the eyeliner and it lasted all day, so I think the issues are the magnets themselves. I believe these only have 3 magnets, I may try a different brand that has more magnets.

The magnets do not work with the eyeliner.
Nope 1

Tried it cause the glue ones don't always work with me and the eyeliner was gray and clumpy. Put on two coats and it didn't stick, put on another and it still didn't work, so basically it's not worth it

The eyeliner is clumpy, chunky, and does not apply well at all. The lashed have 3 very tiny magnets which do not adhere to the liner at all.
