GAMECHANGER I was losing so much hair and tried so many brushes to see if they'd make a difference. THIS BRUSH MADE A DIFFERENCE! I have 3A and 3b hair and I tried tangle teezer brushes, wet brushes, etc. but they still tugged and put too much tension on my hair and it wasnt until I tried this one that it made such a change. I went to losing only 1/3 of what I was losing and was surprised that i loved it as when i opened it, it was huge and stiff, not flexible bristles and not flexible like the brushes meant for culry hair that move freely and have a control bar to set how far apart the rows are. I thought I'd hate it but ended up buying a 2nd incase they stopped making it in the future/changed it/ or if mine eventual wears down over the years. I currently have it customized where i have three of the detachable rows facing one way and the other 4 rows facing another way, basically having it face opposite every other row and it works so perfectly for me! Im hooked!
Don't get it I don't understand why this brush has a fairly high rating. I have really curly hair and this hurts to even try and brush your hair with and I don't have sensitive head so for me to say that says a lot plus if you use in shower like me you accidentally pop the button and all the pieces come off. Seriously don't buy this brush if you have extreme curls. I'm taking it back!!

I purchased the comb and brush. Unfortunately, they did not work well on my thick kinky hair in the back. They were ok on the thinner section of my hair in the front. Sadly, I'll need to throw them out.

I got it free with purchase but would not recommend it at all. Brush is hard to customize and the different pieces kept coming out. It was heavy and bulky. It did not work as intended.

Despite the brush being stiff and hard, it glides through my wet hair and once my product is in, it creates the best ribbons and in turn the best curls!

I have 3b curls, and this brush is good at detangling my hair and also distributing product. But the brush is a bit heavy and the smooth handle is hard to hold onto. The handle really needs a better grip - it slips out of wet hands.

Got this brush as a gift with purchase -- I don't hate it but I would not have gone out of my way to buy it myself.
Normally I would have JUST finger comb my hair in the shower while/after conditioning.
Then applied my products, rake my fingers through my hair and air dry.
Now I finger comb in shower, apply product and then use this brush to make sure my product is evenly distributed... This could also be done with a cheaper comb.
I do like that creates clumps because the brush is adjustable, but it is really hard plastic and I have to be careful around my piercings. Got it caught in my cartilage hoop and ALMOST ripped it out.
