Olive tone girlies beware
Who doesn't love a beautiful bullet matte lipstick? They are definitely not the retro matte lipsticks of yesteryear BUT a bit disappointing for olive tone (cool or warm) girlies. Maraschino Much? is a bright bold fuschia, Diva a sultry, vampy burgundy. Both great for olive tone girlies. Ruby Woo- NOT the cool blue toned red of past, it turned orange on my lips. I've had truer blue toned reds in drugstore brands. Yes, I can add a lip pencil to make it wearable but why should I have to? Mehr and Soar BOTH turned a boring brown, not that pretty mauve/dusty rose color I was looking for. I tried applying concealer, still appeared brown. If you want a 90s brown lip, go for it. Just wish for once I could find a pretty rose/mauve color that didn't go brown on my skin.

Dare Me is literally the color of my lips but a little bit deeper. I have a light complexion with warm undertones and this is truly a perfect shade for daytime and deep enough to wear into the evening. I hope MAC never discontinues it! The formula is comfortable to wear.

I love this color; it's super natural and very creamy, which makes it glide very smoothly over my lips.
Not the same velvet teddy
I'm very disappointed with MAC. This is not the same Velvet Teddy lipstick I loved before. The new formula is very drying and uncomfortable on my lips, and the color has also changed—it's now much more pink than the beautiful original Velvet Teddy shade. MAC has also changed the Powder Plus Foundation, and the brushes that were previously made in Japan are now made in China. I'm really disappointed with these changes and with the decline in the quality of MAC products.
