First is the packaging which looks very elegant and luxurious. Next up would be how well it went on; smooth, not sticky, feels barely there but looks full coverage. Then the matte finish which is fantastic. Maybe not something to wear all the time but definitely a great addition to the right outfit and look. I'll be the first to admit- I'm not normally a big fan of matte lipsticks. They always make my lips feel dry and show every little bit of chapped skin. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't feel this one did that' despite it being matte, it went on smoothly and didn't show imperfections. I definitely don't think this is the color for my skin, but overall I think it was one of my better matte lipstick experiences. I did a brief wear test- before and after a meal (in the pictures). I didn't find it to be very long lasting in a vivid/matte way, but even when it rubbed off there was visible color on my lips. I also didn't find it transfer proof. I do think the key is patting off excess and giving it time to really settle. I really did like the feel of the formula- but I don't think I'd purchase this one- I don't want to reapply as often as I'd need to. The moment I unwrapped it, I was blown away by the luxurious packaging - sleek black tube with a gorgeous gold strip running down the side, the logo on the lid, and on the lipstick it's self. I didn't even want to use it, it was so perfect. It looks and feels so high-end! The color itself is stunningly perfect, it's a neutral-light beige and ladies, I'm telling you it would look gorgeous on anyone, regardless of skin tone or hair color. When I applied it, I was amazed by how comfortable it felt - like a pillow on my lips! It's truly non-drying, even after a full day of meals and work. The formula is so lightweight, it feels like I'm not even wearing anything. I'm seriously impressed by how well it lasts all day without fading or feathering. What really surprised me was that it's matte without being dry or uncomfortable. I thought I'd have to sacrifice comfort for a matte finish, but this lipstick proves otherwise. This product is absolutely amazing. The color is very bold and matches almost any skintone and brings out natural beauty.
