Most Helpful Positive Review Decent Go-To
This is the first time I've used Colourpops Lip Oils and I have to admit, I'm loving them. They're decent to use for a nice hint of color but they keep your lips protected and hydrated. (SPF would be a nice upgrade into them.)
I picked up Skinny Dip at Ulta. My husband picked it out, I'm assuming, because of the name. It's a decent sheer nude color that makes my lips a tint darker. And I'm talking a small, one pixel to contrast, darker. If you weren't familiar with my lip color, you may not notice a difference.
The wand was flexible and easy to use. The shape I'm not completely familiar with, but with it being flatter than normal, it made it easy to apply without too much of a mess.
Because it is a lip oil, wear time is flexible to how much you plan to use your mouth. It transfers pretty easily, but within minutes after application your lips feel hydrated.
I will definitely be picking up more and putting them in my 'to grab when I want something natural for a light makeup day.
Most Helpful Critical Review very strange product :(
i got the lux lip oil in the shade bud rose, so i expected it to be a baby pink shade. imagine my surprise when i received a lilac toned oil instead :(
it has a very strange smell, and it has a poor finish when applied to the lips. while i understand lip oils are made for moisture and not so much shine, this looks more like a lip balm rather than an oil. additionally, it smells so bizarre! i can't name what scent it has, but one review mentioned kid's makeup, and that's honestly what it reminds me of.
it also has zero pigment, but i expected that as it is a lip oil, and since i'm also dark skinned.

I use it daily so soft !!!
Hated this one

I don't like anything about it, the smell and the taste I get from it is just revolting no.

This was the first time I've purchased a lip oil and don't have any other to compare it to. I can say it is similar to lipgloss without being as thick. Bengal has a lovely shine and just a touch of color. I would have loved just a little more color. Lasts about as long as lipgloss without having that drying feeling when its worn off. I would purchase again.
Exactly what I was looking for!

This feels nourishing on the lips, has nice hint of color, and leaves a natural finish- which is exactly what I wanted out of this product.
Gorgeous color - doesn't last long
Nicole from CT
The lip oil is smooth and the berry color I bought is gorgeous. I have used it on top of a nude lip liner and also used it on it's own. I wanted to test if it left my lips feeling softer. It is better suited to throw on top for a quick color and shine than it is to moisturize your lips. It does not do much in way of softening but if you are willing to touch up your lips often, it does look great.

I saw this was a dupe for Dior Lip Oil and I love it so far. It's not as glossy as I wanted so I like to top it with the So Juicy gloss also by Colourpop and it's been my go-to combo lately.
I got the shade Bengal and it's a good amount of pigment but nothing too crazy. This would be perfect for summer when you want minimal makeup or if you're like me and you always go for that minimalist look.
I need all the colors

I bought this because I love the Item Cosmetics lip oil but I hate waiting for stuff to ship. This one is almost as good. The only thing is I wish they had deeper nudes
Nice Application but the smell…..
Customer from VA
I bought this yesterday and the color, Skinny Dip, is GORGEOUS. However it has such a weird smell; I can't pin what it is but it's kind of a turn off for me. The product itself is moisturizing and smooth but I can NOT get past the smell..
Obsessed with this lip oil!

I have this oil in shade "skinny dip," and I LOVE it! It's super moisturizing and has a smooth and velvety texture. This shade is super subtle, just a barely-there nude, and it's exactly what I wanted. My only complaint is that the doe-foot applicator could be fluffier - it's a little too skinny.
Love, Love, Love

The only negative is when it gets low, the tube is longer than the wand so you end up wasting what's left at the bottom.

Looks great on and last a long time. No tackiness. If you've been sucked into Til Tok beauty products like I have - this is a great alternative to the Dior Lip Oils
I'm in LOVE with this product!

lipliner + lipgloss in shade "hot shot" = everything 😍😍 my absolute favorite combo

Slightly color, pretty moisturizing
It was okay.

I knocked off one star just because the product has a slight scent to it. Nothing bad, just not what I want to smell all day. It's a lip oil, there's not really that much more to add onto that. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend because I'm not a fan of lip oils, but I didn't find that out until after I tried this product.

This formula is one of my favorites in terms of lip oils, however, the smell is so gross and it starts to feel like a lip gloss after rubbing it in. Also, the color on the package is very off from the actual color
beautiful shade, and so hydrating!

such a lovely shade! and the formula is so hydrating, it feels like you're wearing lip balm!
Michele from South Dakota
Perfect color for my skin tone. Not sticky and glides on
Crazy about lip oils!
Elisabettawill from ThirdCircleofHell, NV
This is truly a LIP OIL, and has just a tiny bit of tint to it. Don't expect a full coverage color and you won't be disappointed. It's very lightweight, non sticky, very moisturizing, and to me, has a very mild scent.
I just wish that Ulta carried all the colors that ColourPop offers! They have so many colors and I want them all, but I want to buy at Ulta for my points and to keep my Platinum membership!
Ulta please include the other darling colors!! ColourPop has 20!!
lasts a good while, feels great!

this stuff feels amazing!!! I got the nude color so it doesn't add any shading to my lips, but the oil is amazing. all of the payoff of a gloss, none of the hassle. super hydrating and it's a good step in between the medicated balms I use at night to keep my lips from chapping.
Vivster from Idaho
I love it! It goes on my lips so well. The only thing I didn't like is that it has a weird smell to it.
Rose from Orlando, FL
Beautiful sheer wash of color. Super smooth, hydrating, and not sticky in the slightest!
Jessica from San Antonio, Tx
I just bought this and I'm still sitting in the Ulta parking lot cause I decided to read some reviews. I'm suprised at the negative ones, maybe they just got a bad one. I don't really notice any smell at all, it's light and moisturizing, I got skinny dip and it's really just pulling out my natural lip color so great for a nice nude lip. I have a feeling this will me a new fave of mine.
Feels great, smells awful!
KVivs from NY
I am torn on this- I really like how it looks and feels while on, my lips feel moisturized and soft after only a couple uses. The downside… it smells SO BAD. I don't typically smell products but this is hard not to when applying to your lips. I have been continuing to use it because I like the effects but unsure if I'll buy again due to the smell.
