Best Eyeliner
This is the best eyeliner I have ever tried. It stays on even in hot, humid weather and the color stays true. It goes on smoothly and looks great!

A little bit good, a little bit bad
As much as I love this eyeliner - I have worn it for years - I absolutely hate that the product dries up halfway before you've used it all. I always end up throwing away half the pot to replace it with new eyeliner that won't flake and will spread nicer, given me even coverage. Once I get my new pot...

It's A NO For Me!
I wanted to try this liner since Maybelline discontinued my ride or die! As soon as I dipped MY brush I knew it was garbage! Don't waste your money! Bobbi Brown do better! SMH - rip off big time!
Pitch black and such an easy glide to it.
Definitely a keeper. Wish it didnt cost this much but that wont stop me from ordeing it again. Easy to apply & dark matte looking like I love it. The eyeliner brush that I got for it was ultra fine by Elf 😍
Changed formula???
I have been using this eyeliner for years. I use the shade Caviar Ink. I sometimes buy 2 at a time because shis shade isn't always stocked @ my Ulta. Well i just tried a new one and I feel it isnt the same. It's not as creamy or concentrated and this one does smudge. I've never had issues with this before.
Not pigmented enough
I decided to try this eyeliner because my go to for the last maybe 10 years was L'Oreals Infallible gel liner which was discontinued. I was hoping to find another liner that I could use on my waterline but what I got with Bobbi Brown was not only did it not go on my water line well but it's barely pigmented, its more of a light black versus a deep dark black. I tried to apply it over and over but I just couldn't get it dark enough for my liking. I went back to L'Oreal that I can buy online for a ridiculously inflated price.
Dries Up in Pot
I wanted to love this but was very disappointed. From the very first use of the unopened package, it was dry and unworkable. I have spent decades as a professional in the beauty industry. I have worked with many challenging products. This one isn't a challenge...it's a total dud. So disappointed.

I love this eyeliner but my last purchase dried up quickly and i made sure the cap was on tight. Any advice? I don't wa t to waste my money again
- Asked by Anna
- Official Answer By Bobbi Brown USHi! We’re so glad you love the Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner but totally understand how frustrating it is when it dries out so quickly, especially when you made sure the cap was on tight. A couple of things that can help - try to close it right away after each use and avoid leaving it open while you’re doing the rest of your makeup, since even a little air exposure can start to dry the formula. Some customers also find that storing the jar upside down helps keep the product fresh, and gently swirling your brush in the pot can warm it up if it feels a bit dry on the surface. If it seemed to dry out unusually fast, we’d definitely recommend reaching out to Ulta customer service as well. We hope this helps for next time. Was this answer helpful to you

Can this be used for eyebrows?
- Asked by Shawna
- Official Answer By Bobbi Brown USNo, we do not suggest the Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner be used on the brows. We do recommend the Precise Brow Pencil for soft definition and bold structure. Was this answer helpful to you

Is the finish matte, shimmery or gloss?
- Asked by Cami
- Official Answer By Bobbi Brown USWe’re happy to confirm that the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner shades feature a beautiful matte finish—with the exception of Chocolate Shimmer Ink, a dark red-brown with a gorgeous golden shimmer. To apply: Dip the tip of the Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (sold separately) into the gel liner, coating both sides of the brush. Wipe off any excess on a tissue. Working quickly, apply in short, even strokes close to the lashline, moving from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. Happy lining! Was this answer helpful to you

Apply with brush?
- Asked by Susan
- Official Answer By Bobbi Brown USThanks for your question! For best results with your Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner, begin by dipping the tip of the Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush into Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner. You'll want to start toward edge of the container as opposed to dipping your brush directly in the middle of it. Be sure to coat both sides of the brush and wipe off any excess. Apply this silky eyeliner in short, even strokes along the lashline, from the inner to the outer corner of the eyes. We're here to assist with more customized application tips for your Bobbi Brown Cosmetics products and invite you to chat with us! - Official Answer By Bobbi Brown USThanks for asking! Unfortunately, our Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Smudge-Proof Gel Eyeliner isn’t meant for the waterlines. For best results, dip the tip of the Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (sold separately) into Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, making sure both sides of the brush are evenly coated. Wipe off any excess on a tissue. Working quickly, apply eyeliner in short, even strokes close to the lashline, from the inner to the outer eye corner.
