Most Helpful Positive Review Aero aerated Liquid Gold This foam is more of a natural golden tan- i would say its light/ medium, dark, or ultra dark. it does NOT have a color guard which is okay... but have to kinda do two coats if you're worried about missing any spots. i think this is a great formula for when you just want a nice glow rather than and actual “tanned” look. I recommend using the” liquidgold dry oil gradual every day” after wash off ( wait atleast 6 hours) honestly is sleep in it. it says no wash off required but that seems irrelevant... unless this is supposed to be a one day tan and i'm not using it correctly. my fav ( and i now own every product... in just one month( yes covid19 has me on a spree) is using the tanning LOTION (dark) — i just ordered ultra dark... comes wednesday but anyways tanning lotion dark wait 8-10 or sleep with on. wash off pat dry use liquid gold dry oil gradual tanner, and for the face i use the face everyday milk. the foam Is like marshmellow flush, and it kept falling off my mitt onto the floor- the reason i'm giving it 5 stars is because for what the product is, and that's to get a nice golden glow not an actual Tanning product in which you turn a nice brown bronze color, it works great for that. i just bought aero dark and aero ultra dark foam. ( actual -tanning- products) I will review those as well :)
Most Helpful Critical Review Not all the hype, but not bad I bought this self-tanner based off that pic of the pale girl (like myself) and was expecting like a deeeeep tan, it's not exactly that, okay? If you want a nice natural looking tan that gives you some color, then I recommend this. However, if you were like me and looking for a TOTAL TRANSFORMATION, this is not your product. I actually used like 3 coats. I started at 12 PM and tanned until like 3ish, there wasn't much of a difference so I decided to apply some more. I applied another coat at like 3 and about 30 mins later applied another. For me, it developed strongly on my hands and face. I recommend a velvet tanning mitt, I purchased the ulta brand one and it worked just as good as the actually tanning company mitts. I also recommend using a foundation or face buffing brush on your face and ears, I bought a real techniques foundation brush and it did exactly what I needed it to. Also, you need to exfoliate everywhere you plan to tan to remove dead skin. I also recommend using a LOT of hand cream before, as the tan tends to stick to the hands more. I also recommend putting lotion on areas that you tend to be a bit dry, you're going to want something that absorbs really easily. It did not take well to my chest, so I would say do some extra coats there if you have that problem. I took a shower at 11 PM (when the tan would be fully developed) and I also shaved and it did not bother the tan for me, which I found impressive. If you get excess anywhere use some form of a scrub or exfoliant and that will remove most of it. It was very moisturizing, which was nice. But, was sticky, that's expected though. There was no color-guard, which makes it okay for the face. It did not clog my pores and actually made my face look awesome. I will continue using this.

This product on its own is not that great which is why I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5! HOWEVER, i would highly recommend this to touch up a few days old self tan! Personally, I love the Suzanne Jackson Dripping Gold self tan mousse, but around day 5 I need a little more color and this is so good for that! I guess you could say its like a tan extender!!!

I've tried sooo many self tanners, and this is the absolute best!! I was using the Bondi Sands Liquid Gold foam prior to this, and it's pretty darn good. But the texture of the Aero, is amazing! It's a thick luxurious mousse that effortlessly melts into your skin. I use it on my face too. And it leaves your skin feeling moisturized.
This won't give you a deep dark tan; it's a perfect light Golden tan, which I love, as I get very pale in the winter. No orangey color, no streaks.
Best of all- There is NO TANNER smell! Slight smell of coconut & that is it.

The liquid gold on its own is a very light color and won't do anything drastic. I love to tan with the Aero Ultra Dark or the Aero Express the night before, rinse it off and apply this right after I shower. This is a good tan when put over another tan and the liquid gold helps with tan maintenance. I will say this clings to my hands and feet more then other tanners do so moisturize those areas really well. Also since there's no color guide you can tan with this in the morning and let it dry after for about 20 minutes and then get dressed and go about your day and it will develop throughout the day

Great color, the smell isn't the best but it fades. Not orange whatsoever, green based for natural color. Make sure to exfoliate prior to use , so you won't be patchy. Great product I'll buy this again.

I have used about 3-4 self tanners over the years and I really love this one!! The color is perfect and I love how it is a mouse and how smoothly it goes on. It is not splotchy at all and it is even. I love using this for my legs for the perfect color. I use Loving Tan for my upper body. Will be my go to for self tanning so happy I've found this!

Okay. For starters, I'm Latina. I'm Fitzpatrick Scale 3 in winter and 4 in summer. I recently had to take a medication that causes UV sensitivity so I decided to opt for a fake tan. This stuff is decent. Now, pros, it's got a pleasant odor, it's not terrible like some self tanners. It applies smoothly with no splotching. Cons, for my skin tone, it's not deep enough, it's not very noticeable. This would work for a light skinned woman, it does have a yellow undertone though so consider that. PRO TIP: If your skin would not become that tan naturally in the sun, don't use fake tanner. If you're pale, just own being pale. We can tell when you have a fake tan if it doesn't match.

I've had this on for 6+ hours and I have not even gotten a HALF a shade darker. Very disappointed. Also when I opened this package the lid was off and the tanner leaked all in the bag (yes I said bag, they didn't put it in a box?). It smells great until you wear it for awhile and then it smells like your typical self tanner. 10/10 would not recommend.

This is NOT the one to use if you are looking for the ultra dark look. However, if, like myself, you have been searching for that super natural "my skin but better" glow that does NOT turn blotchy when fading, then this is the one for you. Absolutely adore it & will be my go-to from now on.

Loved the Bondi Sands Aero Liquid Gold! It gave a very nice golden color which lasted about 5-6 days. It did not transfer on to my clothes and I liked how you don't have to wash off a guide color. I also liked how you could apply 2 coats for a deeper tan. The smell wasn't my favorite, but I am very sensitive to smells so it might not bother others. The other con to this was, because of the no color guide, I did end up with a few streaks and missed spots. That's not really the product's fault though; I am just newer to sunless tanning. But because of the quicker drying, no wash off color, no transfer plus good, longer lasting results, this is my go-to product now!

I was really excited to try this quick drying sunless foam. I put it on at night after exfoliating and shaving as I usually do and I woke up looking exactly the same with absolutely no color. Definitely not worth it. Wishing I wouldn't have spent money on an item I can never use again.

The colour of this tan is beautiful! a little lighter than I expected but still lovely, I like the fact I don't have to wash it off straight away either. I know due to this it doesn't have that colour I can follow like on the light to medium tan so it can be a little hard to see where I have done and where I haven't. The feel of the tan is great as well, really weightless and smells really good.

This brand is next level. I HATE the way tanners feel on my skin. But if I only do one layer of this one it's not heavy or sticky and I can sleep in it. And the color is so natural. And it's two hours less than other ones I've used. I absolutely love this brand. Only thing I would change is application color so I could tell if I've missed any spots. But I have yet to miss anything with it's airy texture.

I have purchased several Bondi Sands products over the years and have had good results. One of my favorites is the Australian Gold Dry Oil and I also like the original foams, so I thought I would try the aerated bottle. The foam was white and went on pretty clear. And even after 11 hours of wear (I did two coats) my skin color did not change ANY! I will continue to buy the other products by Bondi Sands but never this particular one again because it did nothing.

Great product! It last longer than the mousse! The color is the perfect gold tone! It dry super fast so it's a little bit tricky at first be so cool because you can get dressed right after!

I am a frequent user of self tanners and typically get nice results. After seeing good reviews, I decided to give this a go. I bought and applied this yesterday and the color has not developed at all. Back to my old brand.

In general, I love the idea that it leaves no stains on clothes. The typical self-tanning odor is there as with any self-tanning. I just wish the final colour of the tan was darker.

Lovely and smooth to go on , feels very light and dry , not sticky at all and left a lovely colour . It is even fading naturally on my skin like a normal tan would , no patchiness. :smiley: love it x
