Most Helpful Positive Review Most long lasting lip product on the market, period! There is no need to explain how long-lasting this lip whip is. I have seen a ton of bad reviews here from people saying it does not work. It does, and exceptionally well if you prep before application. First, I use the lip scrub (strawberry is my favorite!) and let it sit on your lips for a short time to allow it to deeply hydrate the lips. Remove the excess, then apply the lip whip. If you are over 35 like me, apply on a slightly open mouth to allow the product to get deep into the surface of your skin. DO NOT smack or rub your lips! Let it dry. Then, you can use lip gloss on top if you want that extra wet look. My husband noticed how beautiful and long-lasting it was, and he even approved of me getting more colors ;)
One very important note: since this brand is focused more on PoC, it is natural to expect the colors may be too intense for fair skin.
Most Helpful Critical Review Horrible smell, color not true to advertisements I grabbed this in the shade Granny's Recipe on my latest trip to the store. My first impression upon opening the tube was a strong scent like artificial sugar cookie mix gone bad. This lipstick does apply very smoothly, and I'm a big fan of the flexible applicator. However, in addition to the strong smell, the color is just not flattering. Beauty Bakerie's site describes this as a " peachy - neutral tan." I don't see any peach in this. It's more of a yellowy-brown. Very muddy. Kind of looks like baby dookie, lol!
Due to the nauseating scent and inaccurate color, I'll be returning this.

I've been looking for a lipstick to match my natural shade of pink and this is the closest and best I've found. It goes on smoothly and has a nice shine to it. I love that it's also vegan and cruelty free. My lips never felt dry wearing this.

Goes on nice, I love the color. I was looking for a dupe for Stila Patina and it was a close match. And that's where my likes end.
For a makeup line named after sweets you would think the smell wouldn't be so awful. It smells like stage make up or your grandma's make up you'd play with as a kid. Long lasting is also not at all the case and it wears poorly.

Besides the cute name and packaging, products are sub-par. Mainly they're hard to enjoy when all their lip products say : FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. DO NOT INGEST. Which is hard when the products are on your lips all day.
Have plenty of "unclean" (contains toxic chemicals) products and never saw this on the box ever.

I was SO excited to try this out as I've good things about Beauty Bakerie, but I was disappointed. I put it in and then went boutique hopping with a friend for 2 1/2 hours and it was completely gone when we were done (I did not eat or drink anything). It also smells like make up I used when I was in musicals in high school. It applies nice and I like the color and applicator, but the wear of it was disappointing.

These things last forever and you even need a whole other product if you ever hope to get it off your lips. Not worth it to me to have the staying power on a lipstick that feels terrible on the lips, is such a pain to get off, and doesn't even look like the same color in person. Granny's Recipe is way more orange toned in real life even though it looks much more neutral in the photos. Very disappointing and probably won't buy again

The lipstick itself is nice quality but the color online is very different from the color in real life. It looked to me like a reddish warm berry but was actually a pretty dark brown. Had to return and bought Stila instead.

Remember that waxy smell of lipsticks in the 80's and 90's? That's what I smell for an hour while wearing this. The color granny's recipe is much darker than it appears online.

Products is creamy and lasts all day. The color is also rich. The key is application. Allowing it to dry between layers and you only need 2.

Love the formula of Versailles and granny's recipe but both are a ton darker than the picture. I wanted lighter shades and these that I recurved aren't even close to what I expected.

The lipstick is 2-3 shades darker then it looks online which wouldn't be so bad if it didn't taste like chalk. I was really looking forward to this being "Smudge Proof" but it came of with one touch of a napkin

I was excited to try this new lip product. It was a great color and supposed to be moisturizing. It was not, it wore off quickly and was extremely drying out like matte liquid lipsticks. I was disappointed in this product and immediately returned it.

It's a Creme feeling on my lips with the shine of a gloss. I like it better than a gloss because it stays on longer.
