Most Helpful Positive Review THE BEST for dry lips Apparently this is a very polarizing product, as, this far, you mainly see either 1 star or 5 star reviews. Mine is obviously a 5 star review, so let me tell you why.
I have perpetually dry lips. Have for years. I do all the right things (drink plenty of water, exfoliate my lips, use balm, etc). I have in excess of 20 lip balms in use at any given time. Everything from drugstore to high end. My favorite before this were the K-Beauty lip sleeping masks. Yes, they are wonderful - thick, emollient, hydrating - but this one, for me, is far superior.
Many reviewers are saying things about how it is too thick or has a poor smell. Yes, it absolutely is thick, which is one of the reasons why it works so well. The smell for my tube is essentially non-existent. Maybe a slight vanilla, but I don't even notice it, and I usually notice a smell, especially if it is bad. As for a reviewer or two who said they couldn't remove it, all it takes is a damp cloth or tissue, and it comes right off. I generally apply before bed or when I'm around the house, and remove in the morning or when I'm going to ally another lip product, respectively, and my lips are happy and hydrated!
The bottom line is, I believe this balm is fantastic. Yes, it is more pricey, it is a thicker formula, and it doesn't smell like frosting or flowers. But none of those things are negative, especially given the fact that it makes my lips hydrated, smooth, juicy, plump and soft! I believe that if you're looking for something that will make your lips look and feel awesome, then you should certainly give this product a try. I won't be without it now!
Most Helpful Critical Review Disgusting and Overpriced Mess Horrendous. I purchased this during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty, and even the half off discount doesn't make this item worth it.
This gloss is sticky and incredibly goopy, makes your lips stick together like you have glue on them, a super thick and uncomfortable goo. Smell isn't great (not sickening, but I don't care for it), and the stuff won't get off your lips (and not in a good way, not like it has staying power, but in the, I'm starting to have anxiety because I can't get these chemicals off my mouth) - it was like trying to remove congealed superglue, I had to rub my mouth raw with a wet and soapy washcloth, and I still had remnants.
Also, just as a note, it does have glitter specks in it (I know some people are not a fan, and I don't think I saw this note in a previous review yet). To add insult to injury, it isn't even lux packaging. The product itself is terrible, and it is in a cheap plastic container!
Horrible item, no one should waste their money, even if this was only one dollar. Had heard great things about Sara Happ, but this item is an insult to consumers, and disgusting that they'd put this out, let alone charge this much for it. Definitely avoiding this brand now.

This stuff smells like rose water, which is fine. The scent isn't overpowering. The color is obviously clear, with a bit of a light pink tint, but it's universally flattering. The big issue for me is the STICKINESS of this stuff. This feels like you just put Elmer's Glue on your lips. It's heavy and sticky and thick. Your hair, your mask, whatever gets close to your mouth will be stuck on your lips. Be prepared.
On the other hand, the One Lux Balm from Sara Happ is great, it lasts forever and it's very moisturizing. This stuff though, is definitely not for everyone.

This is a great lip balm for when my lips are dry and chapped. A little goes a long way, so the product lasts a long time. I will definitely repurchase it.

Extreme shine and softens lips. If my lips are beat up from the cold, wind, sun, heat, etc., this instantly makes them feel better. It's VERY thick and sticky...which I don't normally like but considering how amazing this makes my lips look, I don't mind it.

My lips peel during the winter and when I use lipstick. This product really helps. I also use their lip slip and scrub. I know it's pricy but it is worth it!!!

I love this. I came by this entirely by accident and was a little doubtful as I'm not a gloss person. However this is very nourishing and I prefer to use it as lip balm. My lips get very chapped and once I put this on, it not only stays for several hours (even when wearing a mask the whole time) it leaves my lips so much smoother and healthier. I love wearing it over night, it doesn't smear off so I can sleep comfortably without worrying it rubbing off.

This is literally the stickiest lip gloss I have ever used. It feels so uncomfortable on the lips, I wiped it off immediately. A huge now from me.

Not for me. Ultra sticky and tacky. You can see the tackiness stretching between your lips when you open your mouth. Probably how it can claim it's so long lasting. Hard pass.

I bought into the hype & super disappointed. This is pretty, but thick, gloppy & gross. For the price I would have expected higher end ingredients. The main ingredient is "petrolatum" (or vaseline); and the packaging does not even denote whether it is "white petrolatum" (it's purest form... which even the cheap drug store petroleum jellies will indicate). I bet she's laughing all the way to the bank. Will not repurchase any of her products as I can make in my own kitchen for pennies on the dollar.

Some people seem to not like the thicker texture but I love it. It makes it long lasting which is perfect bc I literally have to re apply like twice per day. And that's with eating and drinking water, coffee whatever else. Love it. Love Sara Happ products.

I heard a lot of positive talk about the line and was excited to get this product on sale. My lips do look beautiful, but this stuff is so thick and sticky that it feels gross and makes me want to wash it off. The smell is distracting also -- wish it was unscented. Nothing special or luxe feeling about the product or the packaging. Feels overpriced even with the discount.

I love this product because it really helps my lips stay hydrated. I struggle with perpetually dry lips. I put this on before bed to keep my lips from getting dry overnight and to heal my lips if they got too dry during the day. I normally dont like lip gloss at all. You only need a little bit during the day to stay hydrated but you can put more if you want that classic lip gloss feel and look. It is not cheap stuff, so don't put too much because it's not that cheap stuff we used as little girls. I also LOVE their lip scrub. It lasts forever and really is strong enough to take off your dead skin.

I tried Sarah Happ products a few months ago as soon as Ulta released them. I have spent hundreds on lip care and I was super hesitant to try anything else & spend more money after realizing nothing, no matter the cost or brand, could work on my overly chapped lips. I took a medicine for acne 10 years ago, which left me with permanently chapped, cracked, & dry lips so matter what I use or how hydrated I am. They hurt, are embarrassing, and it's been a super frustrating journey. The lip scrub is so so to me, but this gloss has been a God send! I know many people don't like the thickness or "sticky" feeling, but it moisturizes and coats my lips for hours! For the first time in years, something continuously has worked miracles on my lips and now they are pain free and not cracked! I also love that my skin doesn't break out around my lips from this. As long as the formula doesn't change I will forever use & recommend this product. When something really works, iI don't mind the cost.

I LOVE THIS GLOSS!! I bought this when it was half off and will but it again at full price because it is so good. Yes it is thick but keeps my lips from drying out and stays on forever. It has a really pretty shine. I wear it all the time and recommend it to everyone!

I completely disagree with those that say the thickness and sticky texture makes this product bad. I love love love sticky lip gloss. They are so hard to find in this consistency so I was really pleasantly surprised when this one turned out to be. I used to love Lancôme's juicy tubes but they got rid of all the subtle colors and don't hydrate any where near as well as this product. The sticky consistency saves you from having to reapply it a million times a day because it stays on and allows it to stay on long enough to actually soften the lips. This is definitely a 5 star item!!!!

I purchased this on a beauty steal and kept it but would have definitely returned it at full price. I do feel it hydrates but it is so sticky that I find it uncomfortable to wear. It gets in my hair and just feels heavy on the lips. I will use it at bedtime when my hair is pulled back. Looks nice enough but just doesn't feel great.

I love this product. Yes it is thick and I guess sticky but it stays on for hours and makes your chapped lips feel soothed and heals them. Whenever my lips are dry I wear this and they feel so much better afterwards I actually like that it's thick because it stays on and you don't have to reapply often.
