I was drawn first to the cute packaging of the Follain lip balm, but I was also intrigued by the ingredient list. I've had this balm for a few days now, and I absolutely love it! It doesn't have the waxiness of most lip balms. Instead it is truly moisturizing. The argan oil is the key, I think. It doesn't coat the lips, it absorbs into the skin and keeps them soft. Because it doesn't sit on the surface, it can make it feel like there's no product on the lips, but there is. I put on a good coat before bed every night, and when I wake up my lips are soft and moisturized. They aren't coated in product, but they are moist. Years of "regular," waxy lip balm use might lead one to think this isn't working, but it is -in a natural, truly moisturizing way.Most Helpful Critical ReviewGreat formula, awful packagingI have very mixed feelings about this lip balm. First of all, I love the light scent! I am very sensitive to scents and I love that this one isn't too sweet or fruity, its a perfect refreshing scent for a lip balm. I also have trouble closing the cap all the way, and the product frequently falls out. I feel that the flimsy green plastic packaging is not representative of the high-quality brand that I know Follain is. The smell is great, the larger applicator makes it so easy to swipe across once on each lip, and done. It's not waxy, is slightly oily but in a pleasant way, and no no stickiness like Burt's bees and others. I will say it doesn't fix my lips on extra-dry days but if my lips are in decent condition this is a great daily balm. I just use a sugar lip scrub if my lips are very dry and put this on top and problem solved.
