Most Helpful Positive Review My #1 Go-To for 4+ Years! Winged liquid liner has been my staple for over 4 years- very few days have gone I gone wingless- so naturally I've tried dozens of liquid & felt liners $3-30, yet I always return to this. The applicator is rubber and unlike many, it doesn't taper to a point, which could be a deal breaker for some, but I've had so much practice I can create a sharp wing in no time. Of the liquid liners I've tried, this one takes longest to dry out: with daily use, I must only repurchase twice a year. I have dark brown hair and lashes so I go for Brownish Black and can even go without mascara if I'm rushing and it's seamless. It's dark enough that it's not noticeably brown, but creates a less harsh look than a jet black liner would. I've also cried many times in it, and it only comes off if you rub your eyes (lazy me loves this- add water and you don't need makeup remover! Disclaimer: I don't condone eye mistreatment:P). My only critique is it's not fully matte; other than that, it's my holy grail product.
Most Helpful Critical Review DON'T BOTHER There is a SHAMEFULLY small amount of product in the tube, and I'm not the only one who has said this -- have read it elsewhere. I have been buying this eyeliner for quite a while now, each time thinking I must not have tightened the cap or something, but no more. I only get about three applications on both eyes before the tube runs pretty much dry. I will be looking to buy a different brand at the department store today. I don't care how much extra it costs, I won't keep running out over and over again just when I desperately need it.

My all-time favorite eyeliner is the L'oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner and this is literally the next best thing. I just love the applicator and

My favorite NYX eyeliner got discontinued now I'm looking for my holy grail. This was NOT it. It felt like I grabbed a dry marker and rubbed it on my eye.
Decent 3

After my beloved Nyx matte liquid liner discontinued, I tried out this product to see if it will become my new favorite. Sadly, it doesn't compare, however it's not the worst. I didn't have any smudges which is something I struggle with so it is oily eyelid approved, and I like how it lasted for a long time whilst it was superrrr easy to remove at the end of the day. The only downside is the application, I wasn't able to get super precise lines or a nice pigmented coverage. The felt tip is thick and not too pointy, and the product was runny and at times sheer. I had to build it up and draw on the product carefully so it wouldn't be too thick. I also had to keep dipping the felt tip back into the product just to keep using it because it seemed to lack (i never had this problem before). All in all, if you're not looking for something intense yet precise this might be for you, if you prefer something more pigmented with a thin brush tip, stay away. So far this beats some other liners i've tried, but I'm still on the search.

I know a lot of people don't like this eyeliner (and I can understand why) but it's my personal fav. I've tried so many eyeliners, but I go back to this one every time. It applies super easily, I love the applicator. Sometimes you have to go back and redraw your liner because the "coverage" isn't the best, but it's worth it to me for the great applicator and great price. If you're looking for a long wear smudge-proof eyeliner, don't get this. I personally like it because I hate struggling to remove eye makeup and it removes easily. Depends what type of preference you have if you will like this eyeliner.

Worst eyeliner I've ever had 1
Elayah from Long Beach, CA
I got this Bc it had good ratings but it literally sucks... the brush isn't really precise and the liner flakes off very easily. It barely lasts a few hours.
Not worth it 2
Darcy from Texad
I find this eyeliner easy to use but I would not buy again. It starts fading away about an hour into wearing it and I have to constantly redip the applicator to even do just one eye. I've used cheaper products that do a better job.
Easily my least favorite liquid liner 2
Jules from Boston, MA
No matter what, this liner flakes off all over my cheeks throughout the day. I've never experienced a liner to that. Mascara sometimes but never a liquid liner. The pigmentation is okay but that means nothing when your eyeliner literally flakes off after a few hours of wear. The tip/applicator is really good though, just the liquid eyeliner itself needs a lot of improvement. Included a picture for proof I actually own this
Don't waste your money 2

I was disappointed, it's quite sheer and the pen tip makes it difficult to apply. it's very hard to get a sharp line, and you constantly need to re-dip because the pen barely picks up any product. i would recommend the wet n wild megaliner, cheap and very pigmented.
Disappointed 1
DianaD. from Las Vegas, NV
I am honestly disappointed with this product. Goes on see through and it feels stiff on the eye when it dries. My $3 elf liquid eyeliner works waaaay better than this one. Sorry Maybelline. Tried this years ago and loved it but they must have changed something because it isn't good anymore.
Not worth it 1
Ariel from Colorado
This is not something I'll buy again, it is clumpy and thin. My 3 dollar wet n wild mega liner is better than this!
Same great quality 4

Desperately wish Maybelline still produced their brownish-black color, as I now find myself turning elsewhere for something similar—I prefer a softer look. For those who want a rich black color, though, this liner is for you. At times, I can't quite get my line as thin/precise as I would like, which is another reason for 4 stars rather than 5.
not the best!! 2
natalie from beaverton, or
i like this eyeliner because it has more product compared to other liners for the same price point but i find that i do have to keep touching it up throughout the day when it starts to flake up. the tip is also not the sharpest compared to other liquid liners i've tried. bottom not the worst but definitely not the best liquid liner.
Meh! 3
NikkiB from Clearwater, FL
I just really don't care for the way this applies. No matter how meticulous or careful I am it's almost impossible to make a precise line. I feel like I have to dip it in severl times as I'm going along too which just tends to mess me up even more. I think the tip needs to be a little more firm.
Rich color 4
Hailey47 from NY
The color is intense and stays, I love it! I only wish the tip was smaller.
My Fav 5
vberk from Tennessee
This is the ONLY eyeliner I have ever used (or plan to ever use)!! I love the liquid look, and the tapered felt gives me great control for winged looks! Love love love!
Go-To 5
Xana from Everett
Goes on well, even over shadow & glitter. Only complaint is I often have to let it dry, then go back over my wings once or twice. with a thin wing, that shouldn't be am issue.
I always buy this product. It's accurate, waterproof. Great 5
Amanda from California
I love using the liquid liner. It's easy to apply and wears 24 hours.
Not for me! 2

I am disappointed I didn't like the applicator. I would not repurchase.
So unpigmented 3
Mikayla from Salem
Bought this because my all time fave eyeliner got discontinued. I had this YEARS ago and it was my first eyeliner so I thought I would retry it. Yeah, big mistake. Big nope.
The pigment is so awful. It'll look very subpart and then 5 minutes later it has faded and was awful. So I tried to reapply some over the faded spots. Well, this made it even worse. It was so patchy and not even all that well black.
So-so product 3
Lavren from Charlotte
I never leave reviews, but this product I was surprisingly disappointed by. It applies pretty sh*tty and there is barely any liquid in the tube! It's frustrating. The color is ok, even though it's not the "blackest black" I intended to see. I've been doing winged eyeliner for 6+ years and this made it pretty difficult. We'll see how long it lasts today, but overall a so-so product I wouldn't use as your first choice.
Easy and actually lasts 5

Been using this for years! Best liquid eyeliner for the price! Will always buy this one over any others
