Size your Tip. Apply Primer to tip, then apply Adhesive. Press onto nail and hold, cure 5 secs in LED light to set. Fully cure all 5 fingers in LED light for 30 secs for 21 day wear.

- Official Answer By Red Carpet Manicure - Brand EngageHello, to safely remove Soft Gel nails at home, cut down nail tips and gently file down the top layer, soak in acetone and wrap each nail with foil. After 10-15 minutes, gently push off the softened gel. If you look through our imaging assets on the Soft Gel Tips page you can find 2 helpful videos. Good product, but the directions need help
These are basically the same as apres gel-x. They can stay on 2-3 weeks out you do a good prep and avoid soaking your hands in water while you have them on. The directions in the kit recommended an abbreviated prep and they don't recommend a base layer of the gel adhesive- I tried one hand that way ...

I've used red carpet before and was excited to see this option. I've used the impress nails but didn't like that I only got a week out of them. Not So Great
These nails are definitely not the best ones I've tried. They are incredibly long for being a "short" nail. They also are much rounder at the nail bed, so not great for people with flatter nailbeds. I've had a few that have lasted over a week, but most pop off sooner and I have to resecure with regular nail glue. Pretty frustrating considering the amount of time and products that go into prepping and painting. For a similar product that is actually short and has a better wear time I'd suggest trying out the Beetles brand.

I can't say enough bad things about these nails. They are incredibly long for being "short", they are super thick without the gel on top. When used with the gel manicure like recommended they are so unnatural looking. They are also more curved then a natural nail, not only did that make application challenging trying to hold the nail down to get under the light because they kept popping off. A day after doing my manicure I'm ready to take it off because my nailbeds are really sore from the forced curve.

I never leave reviews, but always look at them before trying something new, so I had to leave one for these nails after seeing somewhat mixed/disappointed reviews. I was brand new to Gel X nails but wanted to give them a try. What I did before I got started was watch a few different tutorials on TikTok and YouTube that made all the difference! The winning tips I got are to etch the nail first, and file/blend the nail with the cuticle after it's applied for longer wear and a more seamless look. This was my first time ever applying them and I'm on day 11! If you do the proper prep and process (and it is a bit of a process) you won't be disappointed! I said if I could get 10-14 days wear with the work it took then I'd be happy, and here I am!

I've tried multiple gel x tips and they all pop off in days, and these are the only ones that hold. So grateful I found this brand! I almost gave up on gel x. My only complaint is that they make a "short almond" kit, then I'd be set!
