Most Helpful Positive Review The real deal for incredible skin! I consider myself a die hard, skincare junkie. I try everything looking for the next best thing. Sometimes I'm disappointed and then there are the times that I'm so blown away that I can't imagine life without the product. This is definitely one of those times. Strivectin Lactic Acid Nightly Retexturizing Serum is actually one of my most favorite products EVER!
For starters, the container and dispenser system is brilliant! The top twists to reveal the dispenser. A push or two on the top dispenses a perfect amount of product. To close, just twist the opposite direction. I love this because it keeps everything clean. It travels well and you never have to worry about it spilling. It is new, unique and practical.
The serum itself is a very faint purple color. It is more of a creamy serum rather than a water or oil. I love the consistency because it is very easy to apply and it doesn't run all over the face or neck. You can really take your time with application. The formula absorbs very well on the skin and leaves it feeling super silky and surprisingly hydrated. The scent is INCREDIBLE! I'm usually touch and go with fragranced products and they have upset my skin in the past, but I have had not a single issue with this. It smells so amazing and fresh and I've noticed that it helps me relax when I get into bed.
Now, this is the 100% truth. I say that because I usually loathe when people say this but I swear on everything- I saw an immediate difference in my skin after just 1 night! I woke up to brighter, firmer and more radiant looking skin. I couldn't wait to see what this formula could do after longer use.
3 weeks in and you would swear I had something done to my skin! It glows! The texture is all together different. When I touch my face, it is completely smooth and no longer feels bumpy. My pores (which have always been a major issue) are almost invisible! It's like this product somehow sucked out all the gunk in there and then shrunk the holes. I've also had issues with maskne (I wear a mask all day at work), and this has helped to clean up the spots that I had and it has also prevented new spots from popping out. My skin looks younger and more radiant than it did in my 20's, and this is the only new product I have used. It has completely changed my skin for the better. It really is incredible! I honestly cant believe that just 1 product can do everything that this serum does!
I've used other lactic acid products in the past but I didn't get results like this. With others, I noticed my skin was quite flaky and dry. I couldn't keep my skin hydrated enough. This formula is completely different than any others. My skin hasn't been dry at all- even with the cold Upstate NY winter and dry, inside heat. It is bouncy, moisturized and soft.
I highly, HIGHLY reccomend this product! Again, it is one of the best skincare products I have ever used. It has completely transformed my dull, dry and aging skin without any awkward stages of peeling or dryness. I absolutely love when products deliver on all the claims they make, and Strivectin Lactic Acid Nightly Retexturizing Serum did just that!

Most Helpful Critical Review Too much fragrance Got this as a sample and it's ok. Still prefer Good Genes. I don't understand why Strivectin is adding so much scent to their newer products. I use their advanced retinol serum and it is not heavily scented. But this product and the super c retinol and a few other sample products I have tried are so strong smelling I can hardly stand it. The scent lingers for hours. And that's saying something because I love fragrance and am typically not bothered by scented products. Strivectin needs to take the scent level WAY down or better yet just take it out. As is, I would not purchase this item.

I got a small trial size, and I'm hooked! It's a creamy serum (think watered down moisturizer), and I noticed immediate results. It improved appearance of my: fine lines/wrinkles, texture, and glow. My face felt very smooth, and well moisturized. It dries quickly, so do put on problem areas first, there's not much time to spread it, bc it dries that fast. My trial size has given me about 5 uses, and there's probably 2 left, so a little seems to a long way! I'm buying a full one now.
As far as the complaints about the fragrance, I have absolutely no issue with smell, in fact I smell nothing lol.

Got a sample of this as a free gift with purchase. Moisturizes fine, nothing special. But the fragrance is really overpowering. This is more like if you want a little moisturizer with your perfume. Threw the sample away after a few nights of use.

I'm 30 and have struggled with enlarged pores, acne, oily skin, and cakey/creasing make up trying to hide all of that. Once I tried this serum, not only did my skin look glowy, healthy and my complexion appeared clearer, but my make up glides on so smoothly too! At 30 years old I am finally able to feel comfortable enough in my skin to not have to even wear make up if I don't want to! This is huge for me and this serum did just that. I hope they never stop creating this product bc it's been the only thing to save my skin and my confidence.

I got little sample packets of these and gave my mom some. Right after I put this on my face it felt so so so so soft and smooth. The next day my face felt so good and looked amazing. My mom even asked what brand it was and so I had to order us both of the big one each. Since their doing a promotion im ordering 2 more bc I don't want to run out of this! Plz try this. No I did not get free products but just try it. You will fall in love with this. I never even cared to get anything like this but good thing I tried the sample!! Im in love and will forever get this!!!

This is not for sensitive redness prone skin. Skin was sensitized for days couldn't use anything but water on my skin. It's not calming it aggravated my skin. Read the ingredients if you have sensitivity to products.

I have sensitive skin redness prone. Did what it said and removed dead skin cells BUT very irritating I had it on for two hours and my skin was very upset and red almost like a sunburn. Resting my skin the next few days: this product is very harsh. Returned this product.

I use it every night under my StriVectin Advanced Retinol Nightly Renewal Moisturizer. I have started an entire StriVectin routine daily/nightly in the last year. I use only their StriVectin products and I love my skin. I am 68 years old and it's the best! Initially I received a sample of this product and then when I ran out of the daily serum I was using for both night and day I switched to the lactic acid serum at night.

This product makes my skin feel so soft and subtle in the morning when I wake up. It really plumps up my fine lines and wrinkles and adds moisture too. I would use it every night if it wasn't so expensive, but instead I only use it once a week. Also I wish it came in a regular tube instead of a pump. It will be hard to get every last drop out when it's almost empty.

(If you received this via ordering online and the pump isn't working, I thought at first it was faulty. However, I realized later after having it sit upright like it's supposed to be versus being thrown around and on its side in the box, it worked perfectly. The product must have settled at the top or on its side during shipping.)
WOW! This works SO well. Worth the cost, as a little more than one pump can cover the whole face. You can ACTUALLY see and feel the difference overnight! A slight tingling sensation when first applied on the skin that doesn't last a long time. If you only use it once a week let's say, the results last for 3-5 days (for my dry skin anyway) before I see and feel texture returning. When used multiple days or every other day, I saw long term improvement versus using it only once a week.
I have tried various glycolic resurfacing products that really did NOTHING for me and I saw no improvement on my skin. But with THIS product, my skin has CHANGED! Besides smoothing my keratosis pilaris (KP) on my cheeks, I have noticed a reduction in dark spots from acne scars and it has helped reduce the breakouts on my skin.
I HIGHLY recommend you give this a try if you have been using glycolic acid treatments and have not seen results or positive changes on your skin. I am so grateful I invested in this product. Definitely worth the money!

I absolutely love all StriVectin skincare products. I had a few facials years back and was told I had a "weird" texture to my skin. I considered myself very dry and dull with some wrinkle starting to show. I am 50 and post menopausal. I wanted to stop the process and have skin that looked alive again. I enjoy using this serum nightly - it tingles just a little and I like that as I feel it is working. It only takes a small amount as I only need 1 press of the button. I also like the scent to finish my day with. My only concern is the press down button seems like it catches sometimes - hope that is not more of a problem as time goes on.

This product is amazing I tried a sample of it and then purchased the full-size because it makes my skin feel so soft and nice after use. I think it smells beautiful too! It leaves skin feeling hydrated and happy! I do rinse this product off after about ten-20 minutes, then I apply retinol moisturizer. I would highly recommend this product as part of your nightly skincare regimen.
