Lightly brush through brows in short, upward strokes.

I am very fair with red hair, cool undertones and I purchased the shade "Dub." This brow gel sure knows how to ruin my day. It's extremely difficult to control and the applicator deposits way too much product. I've even tried using a separate, clean spoolie to pick up a small dab of product from the...

Applicator loaded with product
There is a lot of product that comes out on the wand and I end up almost painting my face, causing more of a mess on the brows that I end up wiping off. I bought some disposable wands to see if that helps at all. If I am not using correctly please let me know!
I want to love this product!
I am a big fan of the Milk brow gels. When they released a tubing version I had to try it! It works superbly for me because my brows are thick and the product coats the hairs well. The applicator spoolie is much too messy though, and I find the product can easily smear. If they switched the spoolie to something smaller, perhaps like the applicator in their other brow gel line, it would easily be a 5/5 product. Instead, it's sitting at about a 4 for me.

I've even tried using a separate, clean spoolie to pick up a small dab of product from the applicator wand, wipe off the excess, and then apply to my brows. Regardless of my application technique, I end up with block brows and smudgy pigment on the skin under/around my brows. This product makes me look like the way people in brow tint videos look before the extra dye is wiped away. Also, this gel has a very unnatural finish that dries like crunchy glue—I got a bang trim and when my stylist's hair comb brushed up against my brows, it made an audible snagging sound. I wish I hadn't missed the return window for this one.
Terrible
Applicator is too big, creates a huge mess because you cant control it. Also the color just gets on the skin under the eyebrow hairs, it looked bad. Dont understand the good reviews at all
Color is much darker than in photos
I bought the color Herb which is a lot darker in person than it appears on here. It's a dark brown, not a medium or light brown.
