Most Helpful Positive Review Gentle but effective I've never really used toner before on a consistent basis. Just face wash. But after using this, i feel that my skin is getting so much more cleaner! It loosens up all of the dirt, and oils from my skin and leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I follow it with Elf's Nourishing night cream. I am very pleased.
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointing ingredients. I just received this in my order yesterday, but I can already say I unfortunately won't be using it. I should have taken a better look at the ingredients before purchase, so it's partly my fault. I took a look at the bottle, and the second ingredient after water is ALCOHOL. What?! How can a product claim to be "hydrating" and contain alcohol? That's the opposite of hydration. I would never use a toner that contained alcohol, so sadly I won't be using or repurchasing this product. :/ Bummer!

i ABSOLUTELY LOVE this toner! i stopped washing my face in the mornings and only use this before my retinol/moisturizer regimen. i just bought this a month ago and i'm halfway done with the bottle, not sure if that's good or not. this replaces my witch hazel toner!

I don't necessarily see the difference of my skin when using this, but skin does kind of appear more brighter than it usually is.

What a great product from ELF! :-) This Toner works great! I use it after I remove my makeup it feels great no stinging leaves my skin clean - no residue but not stripped of moisture! I am working through a sample size but will add a full size in my next order for sure! Really great product imo.:-D

It contains alcohol and is not good for the skin. It dries the skin a lot. It is the 3rd ingredient of this product. If I had read it before, I would not have bought it. I do not recommend it at all.

This toner is not what I expected. I regret not reading the ingredients before buying. When I started using it all I could smell was the alcohol and my skin turned red and felt hot. I do have slightly sensitive skin but I didn't expect the reaction I had especially from a product from elf.

I don't mind the alcohol in it seeing as my skin is oily and acne-prone. If you have dry skin, steer clear of this but otherwise I haven't had any issues.

I like this for a daily toner! It goes well with the other products I use in my daily routine. It doesn't burn (a bit if you have sensitive skin or open blemishes). Sets my face up perfectly for collagen & retinol, niaciamide and hyuloronic acid. (33F)

I bought this yesterday to try it, I didn't stop to read the ingredients and I wish I did.
The second ingredient is alcohol!
NEVER USE ANY SKINCARE PRODUCT IF ALCOHOL IS IN THE TOP 3 INGREDIENT LIST! (Unless directed by a dermatologist,) Alcohol dries out skin, it sucks out all of the moisture! Doesn't matter what ingredients are below, the higher on the list, the more potent the ingredient is.
I put this toner on my face, just to see how bad it was and talk about burn, baby burn.
This toner is an exact case of get your monies worth, and honey, this is cheap. Cheaper then cheap. I'm pouring my bottle down the drain,

Great toner, gentle on skin, balances my oily/combination skin. I use with oil control moisturiser and it keeps my skin clear. Great value for money.

I should have read the ingredients. I wouldn't have bought it if I read that alcohol was the second ingrediant. It also reeks of alcohol so it doesn't have a refreshing scent at all.

I dont use this toner everyday, but I do like to use it on days when I can tell my skin is about to break out. It gets rid of all the oiliness on my forehead and my skin feels great afterwards

I bought this to try as a budget friendly toner and I absolutely love what it has done for my skin!! It cleared any small pumps on my face, kept acne at bay, and removed traces of makeup I missed when cleansing. Can't wait for my third bottle to arrive.

First time purchase wasn't happy read ingredients ALCOHOL. I wasn't to happy I have sensitive drying skin so I decided to cut my lose then one night I notice my Paul Choice toner was out so I said what the heck I'll just use Elf Balance Toner this one time.. WOW! no drying itchy feeling so I waited couple nights then tried again same result.. no drying itchy feeling face felt fresh. I just came to write a review as I purchase my second bottle :)

I had absolutely no idea what toner was before I bought this. So I sort of started it bc this ELF quiz suggested it for my acne prone combination skin.
