After shampooing the hair, apply a generous amount of CHI Infra Treatment and work into the hair evenly. Leave on hair for 2 to 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

The name and description are super misleading. This isn't a thermal protective treatment, it's a conditioner or hair mask. Thermal treatment indicates protection from heat (i.e. hair irons). I know about 7 people that have BURNED their hair and had to cut off the scorched ends because they thought this was heat protection. Consider renaming or at least being a little more clear in the description.
Relaxed Hair!
After using a very strengthening pre poo mixture, I liberally applied this conditioner. It has creamy yet thicker texture. Decent slip but nothing outstanding. Mind you, I was unable to comb through my tangled dry hair at the time. So, I would expect slip to improve under normal conditions. It is fragranced and I like it. I waited 5 minutes with no heat before attempting to detangle with a wide tooth comb. Success! Very happy with the performance. My hair felt hydrated after rinsing. So far so good!
