Most Helpful Positive Review I love it!!!b I was so impressed with the InfinitiPro by Conair 1" Luxe Rose Gold Flat Iron! I straighten my hair nearly everyday and struggle with frizzy and dry hair.
Pros:
Great quality, it's not plastic like other straighteners so it feels a much better quality.
The 9 ft swivel cord. There is a small plastic piece that wraps around it to keep it together if you need it shorter.
although it's only 1 inch wide the heating plates are longer than my other straightener I have used so I am able to get more hair into it shortening my straightening time.
CURLS! This straightener has allowed me to make perfect ringlet curls every time and they last! My hair does not hold curls very well and this is the only styling tool I have found that works all day.
My hair is smoother and less frizzy afterwards which is great in the dry weather.
Cons:
It gets hot! The metal heats up on the outside of the straightener. I have the wrong hair past my shoulders so a lot of times when I am straightening my hair the outside of the straightener touches my shoulders. I have been burnt several times because of this. There is also no finger pad on the top of the straightener to hold it closed and protect your fingers from the heat.
Again the heat. You cannot get close to your roots without burning your scalp. Even on the lower setting the 1 inch plates go edge to edge so it works great for curling but not for close straightening.
One last time it gets HOT! Make sure you are using heat protectant spray and the appropriate setting for your hair. If you have baby fine hair you don't need to crank it up to 30. Read the directions as to not destroy your locks.
All in all I absolutely love the straightener. I will I told my husband I wanted a chi for Christmas but since I received this I have no desire to switch. This straightener is a high end styling tool at a budget friendly cost!!!
I received the InfinitiPro by Conair 1" Luxe Rose Gold Flat Iron in exchange for my honest review.
Most Helpful Critical Review Reviews are right, it gets REALLY hot I bought this to be able to straighten my wavy hair and to add more uniformed curls on days I wanted to have curly hair. It straightened my hair VERY WELL. It was beautiful and shiny with no creases and still had incredible volume! I was shook! The plates do get very hot, however. Too hot to handle. I have no glove to use and came very close to blistering my fingertips a few times.
When it came to curling my hair, it left a lot to be desired. The plates got too hot for to me able to get a good grip to do the ribbon technique and it pulled more than a few strands out. It was too much of a hassle!
BOTTOM LINE: If you just want a straightener and have a protective glove or the skin of a lava monster, this straightener is really wonderful. I wanted something that could straighten and curl and not burn my skin off, so I will be returning this. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a flat iron, but for what I want to do, I guess I will need to. But it's okay! Conair still makes the best hair dryers! :)

Not a review writer but I'm extremely underwhelmed by this flat iron. I went from a cheaper Remington to this and it just wasn't worth it. Disappointed to say the least. For me it didn't smooth, didn't defrizz, just didn't do much of anything.
I Looovvveee this Flat Iron 5

I love this flat iron I have 3C-4A hair.It glided through my hair and I'm also able to curl my hair with it. Best of all it leaves my hair shiny and smooth.
Great for curling 4

This iron is great for curling my naturally straight hair. The outer finish is smooth, so it doesn't create extra tension on hair. The longer plates are so so helpful for curling. It has a long swivel cord, wide range of heat settings, and a good price point. Cons would be that the pretty, rose gold finish has chipped off a lot and the cord feels very cheap. Neither of those have affected the function. I've had it about a year and a half, used a couple times per week, and it's still going strong.
it's good for the price. 4

I have had this flat iron for almost 2 years and I think it's time for me to buy a new one. The color is rubbing off and the dial also no longer has numbers. I honestly don't use my flat iron everyday day, maybe 2 - 3 times a week on a pretty low heat and it looks like I've had this for YEARS. I haven't had any issues with pulling hair or anything but I think it's worth it to spend a bit more on a flat iron that will last for a long time and still look nice.

Best flat iron for 3C-4A hair leaves my hair silky and shiny
Pulls hair, burns surface, no good handle 1
BAP333 from Minnesota
Three issues I have with this straightener: 1) the plates aren't level with each other so when you apply even a little pressure to hair and slide down strands it always pulls a few hairs. 2) the iron doesn't sit flat on a counter; it always rolls on its side and leaves a burn mark on whatever surface its on. It would be nice if it had a hook to hang it. 3) the design is poor so that you cannot touch the outside of the open end. The plastic gets too hot and burns your hand. So only one handed styling which leads to hand cramps. I would not recommend this item.
Great flat iron 5

I have used Chi and Paul Mitchell flat irons In the past which were way over 100 dollars and my last Chi actually broke in half where the plate meets the handle!! I decided to try this one after reading the reviews. I love it!!! easy to handle very sturdy and a nice product for the money especially with the titanium plates, which are better for your hair. If you are in doubt give it a try…. I think you will be very satisfied with this flat iron.
Stopped working after 3 weeks 1

This thing wasn't cheap and it just quit working after only a few weeks.
Not hot enough 1

I've had this iron for less than a year and used it maybe 50 times. It's not getting hot enough anymore. I really loved it when I bought it. But it's not worth the money.

No tearing or ripping hair out ❤️
NEVER AGAIN 1
Mel from FL
bought this with high hopes, i love conair products but they really dropped the ball with this one. I have only had this straighter for a few months and it stopped working. Not only did it stop working i found it very uncomfortable to use, it does not feel like it is gliding across your hair rather than being dragged which lead to pulling.
It was ok... just not for me 3
Megan from Tennessee
This iron didn't work as well as I had hoped for the price. It was fine for straightening my hair, but I bought it to make curls and waves. It just kept catching on my hair and really fried it. Unfortunately, I will probably return it and try something else.
Dissapointed 1

This straightener is terrible! After 2 months it stopped heating. I should have read the reviews before purchasing

Cheap and not good unless you don't mind burning off your hair. Bought the new chi lava instead, and it is AWESOME!!

Straightened my hair after a rainy day in between washings. Purchased because I left my babyliss at home. Would recommend, would buy again. Got it on sale.

burned off my hair... zero stars 3

if you want your hair burned off at the halfway setting, go for it. still chopping off chunks to get rid of the damage. after the incident, it no longer heats up at all. comete waste of money
Great Product 5

Not any better than a $20 flat iron. Returned it and bought another Chi.
Love but... 4

I love this flat iron. I mainly used it for curling and S waving my hair. However, it died after a year of use.
LOVE IT! 5
Lemon from Wisconsin
I straighten my hair when I'm not having a good hair day, it heats up fast, doesn't burn my hair, and curl it at times.
Broke After 2 Weeks 3
rah from iowa
I loved this flat iron when I first started using it. It heated up nicely and did a great job straightening my hair. After about 2 weeks of use it would no longer turn on. I had read other reviews saying this but thought it might be a fluke since I use the InfinitiPro curling iron and love it. Very disappointing. I would NOT recommend this flat iron!!
Broke out of nowhere 3
Lena from Los Angeles
It was good in the beginning but around a month later it just stopped working :( it wouldn't turn on anymore
Love it! 5
FranA from NY
This flat iron has a nice sleek look to it. Does my hair quickly and has the conair price tag. Very happy coming from a $130 babyliss and havent found a good replacement until now. Doesnt snag my hair, long cord, adjustable temp and makes my hair nice and shiny rather than feeling dry like some others.
