Most Helpful Positive Review Looks great on darker skin I bought it today and it's been on for two hours and hasn't smeared at all. did not get on my teeth or my coffee mug and I kissed my sons cheek and it didnt leave a mark on his face lol. it look great on my skin and isn't too light or too dark.
Most Helpful Critical Review Works as advertised but too sweet for me My first impressions of these lipsticks were that although I like the shape of the packaging and the matte finish, the overall design looks a little dated to me. Also the combination of the beige cap and the pink font makes it extremely difficult to read the name of the colors. These observations wouldn't necessarily keep me from purchasing but first impressions are definitely important.
The next thing I noticed upon opening a tube was the smell. Now, this particular line is called "Les Macarons" so I expected them to have a sweeter scent but these are extremely sweet smelling which, to me, was off-putting. I felt like I was opening a tube of lipgloss geared towards a pre-teen, not a luxurious lipstick. My next observation was of the wand shape. It is teardrop shaped and at first I thought that was strange but I actually enjoyed that it had a small tip when I was applying near the lip line. When swatching the colors, I noticed that these are well pigmented lipsticks and not a lot is needed to achieve a full coverage look. This lipstick really is long-lasting as I found when trying to wash the swatches off only about a minute after applying to my hand. The lipstick does not dry very quickly, however and maintains a sticky glossy texture to the touch even after being on my lips for awhile. It does eventually get a matte look but I would prefer if it would dry completely matte and not feel sticky on my mouth. I do like the colors, especially the "Mon Caramel" and I would possibly purchase in the future if I had a need for it, such as an all day event or wedding but I don't see myself using this product on a regular basis. I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. It's just average to me but it does what it advertises.

Like all matte liquid lipsticks, you must put this on lightly and blend with a finger to get it to not get cakey or drying on your lips. The scent is very nice and chocolately and I have many of the colors and I like them all (light skin with olive undertone). Removal is easy with a little but of oil.

I brought this because it was a long wearing mate lipstick and supposed to not transfer but it caked up on my lips and dried them out then felt like my lips were peeling. I love the color and coverage. Peeling, not so much.

The product itself is ok. I ordered Stirred and Midnight Mauve. Both colors are nothing like they are online. Pretty much all Ultas lip products are this way. I'm gonna have to start returning items now when this is the case.

It is very sticky and when I tried to blot my lips with a tissue, the tissue got stuck too. I only put on a very thin layer.

Lip products seem to ALWAYS, unless a lip balm or gloss, look dry on my lips--even when I exfoliate and moisturize beforehand. They seem to separate and emphasize my dry spots. Also, they don't fully blend into my lips and aren't pigmented enough. I like the look of matte lip colors, but they typically look unblended, flaky, and terrible. When I applied this insane product, I WAS SHOCKED. It was so pigmented, moisturizing, and it BLURRED texture. For a matte product, it's so moisturizing...it felt like a high-end product. Please don't spend a ton of money on liquid lipstick--this one is unbelievable! Also, I swatched it on my hand, went to bed, and it was still pretty pigmented in the morning. I've washed my hands a lot today and it's still there and won't budge! So amazing! The ONLY tiny con is that it's a little bit sticky. But you HAVE to try this product!!!! P.S., this is better than the Kylie Cosmetics liquid lipstick!!!

I bought the shade Matador for myself and the shade Ma cherie for my mother. We were in love with not only the color but the fact that we ate xmas dinner and drank water ect and the lipstick did not budge. Also recommended this to my coworker as the formula is soo good. Not tacky or drying! Will be buying more shades, good job Loreal.

I love liquid lipsticks, and this is definitely moving to my top rotation! it stays on for HOURS without getting icky, and it's so smooth and honestly even smells good. I got Nudist and it's too brown for me...but I still make it work and will be buying other shades :)

Idk how they did it but they've managed to make a formula that lasts nearly 24 hours. Through eating, drinking, talking, mask. Everything. But it comes off easily with my face wash. It's incredible. And the colors are so vibrant and rich. I've bought about five so far. My new favorite.

This is my go to lipstick. I alternate between Nudist, Shakedown, & Plum Bum. I have used these for about 5 years now. if you apply it correctly, it will last ALL day and even, into the night. Apply it, let it dry, then, you let it dry. once it's dry, go on about your day. If it's a day where I an snacking more than usual, I have to apply it again, but only because the inner lips have become naked again. In all fairness though, I have tried stirred and matador and they both failed miserably. I don't know what it is about those reds, they just will not stay. If this lipstick had a red that stayed like the brownish-mauves, I would have given it a 5 star review. I almost did anyway because I wear the others daily!

I recently ordered this in Guava Gush. It was more orange-y than I was expecting, but I still loved it and think it will be great for summer. I decided to throw some on just for fun before going for a run. I was dripping in sweat and wiping at my face a lot the whole time. Got back. Looked in the mirror. This lipstick hadn't budged. The formula isn't overly sticky or drying. I can't wait to wear it again.

I get really bad dry patches on my lips, so I normally can't where matte lipsticks. But this lipstick doesn't dry out my lips at all. Also it drys down, it doesn't stay tacky like some matte lipsticks. And it lasts all day. It is so light weight that I often forget I am wearing it at all.

I already own a few other shades so I figured I would go ahead and buy the Mon Caramel shade. For reference, I am very pasty. My shade in the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation is Swan. Mon Caramel is a great nude shade for my skin tone. This lipstick stayed on all day even under the mask. I highly recommend this lipstick in any of the shades! Praline de Paris is another fave! It's a great pink.
