 In-Shower Style Fixer

I bought this product and had really high hopes. it seemed like it would make hairstyling easier in the morning. It does have great hold, smells really nice. My biggest complaint is how my hair feels the next day, I end up rinsing my hair the next day because of the build up. I will not purchase this again. My hair feels gross after using it.

Ive heard rave review after rave review about this product and have played with it a bunch of different ways. Ive tried calrifying then using this. Ive used this in a full routine. I've skipped conditioners and leave-ins before styling with this. I've tried air drying. I've tried diffusing without touching my hair. Ive done everything under the sun, and this gel REFUSES to create a cast on my hair no matter how much I coat my hair or how I implement it into a routine. I'm genuinely SO sad because I WANT to love this. I'm a curly guy who loves a strong hold because my hair is on the thinner side and requires strong hold to last 3-4 days between washes. This, unfortunately, did not give me that. On the upside, it feels nice in the hair and does smell AMAZING. My curls were very soft and touchable, which is all good, but it simply doesn't hold my style long enough between washes! I just wonder what I'm doing wrong, because people SWEAR up and down that this is a strong hold gel!

I tried the sample size and loved it. Would definitely buy the full size. Curls still look good the next day.

Every strong hold gel that comes out, i try! Im not crazy about the smell but it doesnt bother me either! The hold is just perfect for my hair! It leaves such a stunning shine & definition! And the cast is strong but very easy to break which is very important for my frizz happy hair! I dont use it on soaking wet hair nor do i apply this in the shower! I apply it on damp hair, and add water with a spray bottle as needed, i always use a leave in or curl cream underneath, never alone because honestly i dnt style my hair with just gel! So i cannot speak on the dry issue others has stated! I dnt go out of my way to use a hair product! it has to fit into my routine & my styling techniques! I recently used the rizos curls strong hold gel and the doux bee girl gel which is all over tik tok right now and they were too strong for me! A cast thats so hard to break it either left me with more frizz than wanted and limp curls! I always resort back to this gel which just proves how amazing it is for my hair type (3b-3c ) give it a try guys!!

One day, I discovered that I didn't have dry frizzy hair after all. I had waves and curls crying out for moisture! As a result, I am 9+ months in on learning a new way of caring for my waves and curls. One product that has the crazy hold I need is the in-shower style fixer. I already have a larger tube of this, but I have an obsession (small-ish) I'm currently dealing with. I have a rather large and impressive collection of Curlsmith travel size tubes, and I'm well on my to completing it! Curlsmith travel size in-shower fixer is actually in an order I have coming today, along with the curl quenching moisturizing wash.Now, I have everything I need when traveling to build a great wash day routine and it won't be such a hassle trying to pack a bunch of full size products. I digress. I hope you like this as I do. It's very thick and sometimes add water in my hand and emulsify again until it's nice and slippery. It's very good at day two, and day three hair as well. The hold lasts through those other days when not washing. I'll definitely repurchase! I have the full sizes as well, but these are so darned cute!
