In The Buff is a premium double-sided pumice stone from Barefoot Scientist that's designed to soften hardened calluses, corns and dead cell buildup.
I bought this stone for a small callous that was on my daughter's foot. It was a small callous, about the size of an eraser head on a pencil. I started with the rougher side for a couple days and then switched to the smooth side and it has made a huge difference in the callous. Its gone down and is smooth! Highly recommend this pumice stone!
This product isn't worth the price. It was cracked when it arrived. I thought I would give it a try anyway. After the first use it broke. Every subsequent use it crumbled even more. It just isn't worth the price that I paid. I won't purchase again. They need something with a little more quality.
Was super excited when it didn't seem like it arrived broken. Used it right away only for it to crumble and crack IMMEDIATELY! There was no other product used, just the stone and water. Disappointing because it did seem to work nicely for the little use I got out of it before the corner broke off.
I'm a little confused about the recent negative reviews because I love this and think it's the best pumice I have ever used. I purchased this based off of other positive reviews, which was before negative reviews all came in around the same time, so I wonder if there was a bad batch, really hoping they didn't change this stone. Worked really well on my dry cracked heels after not getting any real results from stones, but I also was diligent about using lotion and foot cream along with it. Great product, will purchase over and over again if it hasn't been changed!
I didn't even get to use this because it was broke apart upon shipping, then on top of that the part that was intact just didn't do much.
I opened the package and a chunk of the gray side's corner was broken off. I still tried to use it when I showered. The gray coarse side did well on the areas of my feet that needed attention. I didn't have to scrub hard for it to work. The white fine side smoothed the soles of my feet. I'm frustrated that my pumice stone arrived broken, but I'm satisfied that I get close to a pedicure-level foot scrub at home. I would consider buying this again when I need a new pumice stone.
