Most Helpful Positive Review This has improved my skin! I've used this for about 6 years and absolutely love the results. I've battled with problem skin my whole life, and this product has helped turn my skin into something I'm now proud of rather than hiding from. It doesn't clog pores. It actually smooths and refines pores and provides a silky smooth finish. Acne marks have faded away for me to nothing. The medium coverage is perfect for me, leaving my skin looking glowing and natural. I buff it in with a thick brush and finish with the Hourglass powder. Even in extreme heat this has good staying power. I'm so happy Ulta now carries this product!
Most Helpful Critical Review No coverage I was excited to try this foundation because I've been really happy with the other things I've tried from the brand. I have super oily acne prone skin, and have some active acne and redness.
First, way too much comes shooting out of the tube whenever I try to use this. I've tried applying it with my Artis brush and my Beauty Blender, and both times it didn't cover any if the redness or dark scars.
I thought I could build it up, and I could see the makeup on my face but it still didn't cover the redness or dark marks on my skin. It's really bizarre! And after about 2 hours, it had oxidized quite a bit and was looking about 2 shades deeper than when I first applied it.
I gave it 2 stars because it didn't get shiny for over 4 hours which is a huge plus for me!
I've been forcing myself to use up things in my stash completely, so I'll keep trying with this one, but I won't be repurchasing. The good news is that so much comes out each time that it won't take very long to finish it!

This foundation is flawless. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel like I'm even wearing foundation. It covers well and matched my skin tone perfectly. A little goes a long way btw. Love it.

I don't hate this foundation. The color match was good for me and it's light coverage which is what I was looking for. The only thing is that it is exactly what it says, a liquid powder. It dries down to a powdery finish and if you have any dry skin it will accentuate that. I was fine with this foundation until I started using retinol again and my skin was on the drier side. If you're looking for a lighter coverage and have oilier skin this will probably work for you.

I've tried so many high end foundations over the last 10 years for my oily skin and this is truly the best. I've been using it for a few years now along with the Hourglass primer and concealer- also both fantastic. Looks natural, blends great and lasts all day. Love!

This is light coverage, very orange and it has an awful smell! Disappointed as the concealer is amazing I was hoping for similar results 🥺

I tried about 20 high end foundations and this is my absolute favorite. Completely soaks into skin, you can't feel anything on your face. Does not come off on mask or clothing. Is virtually undetectable and completely evens out skin tone. You will not find your self and oily mess by mid day. I am medium neutral,leaning toward slightly olive, never burn, tan easily and darkly I use warm amber it's perfect for me in the summer and gives me a little color to my face in the winter.

This is not a full coverage foundation. I love their primer but this was very disappointing.

I have so many products from Hourglass and i am so happy they finally came to Ulta...but what a dissapointment for the price. It has like zero coverage. Yes i like full coverage, but this wasnt even medium coverage...i put it on and was like why does it look like i didnt even put anything on my face? And not in a good way.

I had really high hopes for this foundation. It met most of my expectations. Let's start with the pros:
- I have a very fair complexion and this blended beautifully.
- It is extremely smooth and soft
- It is buildable if you want a fuller coverage.
- Very lightweight
- It did seem to hold up well throughout the day/evening.
There are some cons:
- I read another review that stated a dime size will cover your whole face. I have to disagree with that. Even if you don't want a super full coverage, it is going to take more than that.
- My bottle doesn't seem to be completely full. If I were to use this everyday, I think I would run out quickly.
- For the price, I would like something that will last longer.
Overall, I do like it. It definitely won't be my everyday foundation, I tend to lean towards fuller coverage so I think this will be on days where I am doing basic, quick makeup.
If you prefer a light coverage, this is absolutely the foundation for you. I'm not 100% sure if I will purchase this again but it is a possibility.

Thick but seamless coverage. About a dime size does the whole face, buildable if you want it! Best investment in a high end foundation.

I love love love this stuff to control oil. I am super oily in general but I am pregnant and have been even more oily since. I felt like I couldn't find anything to control this oil! I use the Boscia white charcoal primer and then this Hourglass foundation and set it with the Kat Von D locking powder. I won't even get slightly shiny until towards the end of the day and even then, it's not even enough to prompt me to blot. Seriously this stuff is great and if you are oily, TRY IT. My only con is that it's not full coverage, when I want more coverage, I just add a pump of my EL Double Wear!

I love this foundation and I'm so happy Ulta is now carrying Hourglass products! It's great for oily or combination skin. The foundation is liquid but feels like a powder and blends seamlessly - lasts all day too. Will definitely keep buying.
