Definitely helps fade marks, not a miracle worker First things first: I have suffered from acne and hyperpigmentation since I was around 13/14 years old. When I hit 24 I had had enough, after trying everything; contraceptive pills, antibiotics, over the counter stuff, prescription topical treatments - you name it, I tried it. Getting rid of the hyperpigmentation was often harder than getting rid of the actual spots. Once I felt like my skin was under control more and was working on fading the pigmentation, more acne would crop up so it was an endless, horrible cycle. I ended up going on a course of Accutane which finished in January 2020 and tbh it changed my life. My skin is so nice now that I barely wear makeup on my face after years of hating how I looked and being obsessed with covering myself in foundation and I have no regrets, only that I wish I had done it years before! People who have never had skin issues severely underestimate the toll it takes on your mental health and self-esteem, and it's great to see companies coming up with innovative ways to help people deal with acne and hyperpigmentation. Fast forward to about end of August, I suddenly feel one of those big, painful, red, under-the-skin cystic spots coming up on my chin/jawline area - my first in months (maybe because of wearing masks!). I was so annoyed and I just knew it would leave a mark. I remembered seeing adverts for the Hyperfade stickers on Instagram so I looked at the website and reviews and they all seemed positive which gave me hope. CONS: they are quite expensive. I managed to find a discount code so they were about £24, but that's still £2 per sticker - not great if you're on a budget. They also come wrapped in (what I think is) excessive amounts of plastic packaging. Each one is on a small paper sheet, inside hard plastic casing, wrapped in a sachet. I feel like cosmetics and skincare companies should know much better by now, and I would like to see less plastic or biodegradable packaging. Maybe there is a reason for the excessive packaging, but I don't see why they can't just be on one sheet like other acne sticker brands I've used. PROS: definitely helps reduce redness dramatically, and now I have finished using all 12 over a few weeks, I can see a big difference. The mark left behind from the big spot on my chin is definitely smaller and less red and therefore much easier to cover up with a small amount of concealer. It seems to speed up the healing process, so after just a few weeks it looks as if it's several months old. For me, it wasn't a miracle worker and the pigmentation is definitely there, but from just the first sticker the redness was definitely reduced by a lot and I was pleasantly surprised by that. They also stay on very well when wearing them overnight and didn't slide off in my sleep. I can't comment on how well they work on old hyperpigmentation as I've only used them on this one specific area, but for older marks I use a Neutrogena dark spot corrector which works well. Would I buy them again? Probably yes. I think these are a good thing to have in the house for when those pesky spots that you can tell will leave a mark crop up, but the price point means they're maybe not so accessible for those on low incomes or teenagers. If you're struggling with acne and hyperpigmentation, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist, but these stickers are also a good option, especially when used as part of a skincare routine specifically designed for acne-prone skin.
No. I wanted these to work really badly. I did. and while I may concede that they may have SLIGHTLY lightened some spots after multiple day-long wearings... the results are just not real enough. there is no proof in the pudding. the lightening didn't even really last that long. They simply do not work and for the outrageous price they are not worth continuing to try. I've used more expensive liquid products that have actually given some results that would make them worth repurchasing. But on top of it all, the worst part, besides not really doing its job, is the waste. Every pc. is individually wrapped not only in its own metallic envelope, but also its own two piece plastic clamshell packaging, with two paper strips. That is five separate pieces of packaging per spot patch. with the box and an insert. It is so insanely overpackaged and wasteful, and if Iron Eyes Cody had been an actual Native American, he would be tearing up in his grave. it's so astonishingly wasteful I can not support this product or company. if they can get it together and maybe repackage their products, which I'm sure would reduce their prices by about 50% I may try them again. but just.. no. Such a weird, wasteful failure. my God.
Doesn't work 1

I have used almost the entire package and it has not lightened my dark acne spot at all. Wouldn't recommend.
The works great!!! 5

I have hormonal acne almost every month and this saves my post-acne hyperpigmentation!! It's got a great combination of tyrosinase inhibitors which block the melanin pathway to block formation of more pigmentations in your skin. I have SE Asian skin and easily gets Spots after acne, it could be pricey but worth it!! I bought it when it was on sale.

I read some of the comments I guess everyone's skin is different. But I love them !! They always lighten up and disappears my dark stops ! The thing I love most is it stays on all night and day if I decide to wear it . Something I even wear them during the day because it's barely visible !
