HOLY GRAIL from an old goth
Picked this up on a whim because I've always wanted to try a "cake" eyeliner. I did NOT expect this to be my hands down IMMEDIATE FAVORITE eyeliner. I'm 50 years old and have been lining my eyes like the Goth that I am since age 15. This stuff is AMAZING. Wet, dip, whoosh… done. Wings in an instant,...

Sadly less than impressed.
I had high hopes for this eyeliner which I purchased it in the black shade. It was a type of formula that I had never used, and as someone who spends a lot of time exploring makeup products in their free time, that was really saying something. That said, I was incredibly disappointed with how diffic...

Use sparingly
Gets cakey if layered, so have to be precise with first stroke. Good pigmentation though.

Color is thick but not heavy and doesnt move

Picked this up on a whim because I've always wanted to try a "cake" eyeliner. I did NOT expect this to be my hands down IMMEDIATE FAVORITE eyeliner. I'm 50 years old and have been lining my eyes like the Goth that I am since age 15. This stuff is AMAZING. Wet, dip, whoosh… done. Wings in an instant, zero pull, zero tugging, smoooooth sailing over my wrinkles/sarcasm lines. Turn the brush sideways for thinner or thicker lines. Make sure the brush isn't *too wet* before applying— there's a happy medium— or it will run into your eyes. Use a little less water. Wet it, tap some water off, dip it. One swipe for super dense coverage. Set it with some powder and you're good for the night. I can't say enough good things about the pigmentation of these, either. I have both black (perfect pitch black!) and red (doesn't go pink!), and am back to buy the purple. And a couple extra black ones to have, just in case.
not surprised
ordered the emerald green/teal, it definitely is more of a teal then green. unfortunately this product would not fully dry down when used as an eyeliner. most of it would be dry but there'd be an outline almost of product that looked darker and wouldn't dry. it's got good pigment tho.
Love this!
I have always liked cake liner better than any other form of liner. It's so easy to apply, and you have much more control over the line you get. You can get a washed out water color line (which I like on the bottom) or a very bold line. Its also much easier to control the thickness of the line and much easier to make a wing. I also like that you can mix different colors to get your own custom shade. I've had high end cake liners over the years - Chanel used to make wonderful cake liners, and Clinique and Laura Mercier both had nice ones too; but they've all been discontinued. I hung onto the cake liners I had a lot longer than I should have because they are so hard to find. I always look for them on beauty websites, and I am beyond thrilled that I found these! They do not disappoint! They're very easy to apply and the line stays on until you take it off. The price point is unbelievably good. I also love the fact that the brush is right in the lid of the product. I got the black and the purple to start with. I just ordered the blue and the green yesterday. I think I've found my new "holy grail" eyeliner. I will buy these again and again! Please don't ever discontinue. If I could make one suggestion- I would love to see a gray shade and some metallic shades. I think metallic shades would be absolutely gorgeous in this liner. Thank you! 😍
