Is it ok for the product to have a cloudy sediment on the bottom of a new unopened bottle?

Because it’s a real bioidentical keratin—not a synthetic silicone—it naturally settles when the bottle sits still. That’s why the cap says ‘shake to activate.’ A quick shake lifts the keratin back into the formula so every pump delivers the strengthening benefit. Will this cause any protein overload with everyday use?

- Official Answer By Virtue - Brand EngageHi, Good news, you don't have to worry of over-protenizing with any of Virtue products because we have a one and only, patented protein, Alpha Keratin 60ku. Due to it being identical to the protein in your hair (plus it's water-based/water-soluble) it's impossible for it to build up. I'm a cosmetologist/colorist and have used Virtue products exclusively for 7yrs, so I can tell you first hand. :)Was this answer helpful to you

Not sure what is in this product but it agrees with my stands. I alternate product with Virtue's Damage Repair Serum. I can use several days in rotation before washing so take this on my travels.
