Most Helpful Positive Review I'm a big fan I used the tan-lux hydra mousse in medium/dark and I'm very impressed. It did leave my skin with a noticeable difference but looks very natural which is awesome. There is no streaking and color is even and not obvious that a tanning product was used. I followed the instructions and left it on for about 6 hours before washing and had gorgeous sun kissed looking skin. I can tell that it is hydrating which is also great as my skin needs the extra hydration in these frigid winter months. I also very much appreciate that the product is scentless, cruelty free, and vegan. Really have to say it's a great product over all.
Most Helpful Critical Review Too orange I love the formula of this product- the mousse is great because it foams and is easy to spread around on your skin. I love that it's clear and doesn't stain your clothes or sheets. It does have the pancake/syrup smell that self tanner has, but overall a great formula. However, the product made me very orange, and I'm naturally olive toned, so I was surprised by this. Once it faded, the tan did look better, but then quickly became dry and scaly looking. It's not worth the one or two days of a nice tan in my opinion!

I absolutely love this tumbler, I use it everyday! I make ice smoothie's and this tumbler keeps them cold, I once forgot my smoothie at home for 8 hours in this tumbler and when I got home it was still ice cold! I also use for coffee and it is always nice and hot no need to keep reheating throughout the day.

I have tried so many self tanning products and I am really enjoying this one. I usually have a problem with my feet and ankles blending and looking funky because of my dry skin in the winter but this has been working very well!! It seems to fade evenly too! I am super happy with it!

I'm a very fair girl, while this does give me quite the tan, if I leave it on for the full recommend amount of time it leaves me a bit on the orange side. It applies well, it can be hard to apply clear tanners, so you just have to be extra careful, but clear tanners don't stain everything you touch which is amazing! It does seem to last a long time, I even tried scrubbing it off some and it's almost just as tan as it was fresh!

I like that this goes on clear and doesn't have a bad tanning smells like other products. The problem I had was that I ended up with a few spots because it went on clear, I didn't notice the unevenness. It didn't get me very dark.

I really like this Hydra Mousse. I especially like that it is not a weird color and has a limited scent. It goes on fairly easily and applies well, though you do have to take your time when applying it like many other tanning products. This one has an extra trickiness to it given that it is clear (which like I said, I do enjoy, but makes applying a bit harder). Overall, I would recommend this product for a nice self-tanner that has a natural color and isn't too dark.

This tanning Mousse is amazing. It is my favorite self-tanner. When I first got it, I was worried that it was clear. I was scared I would not be able to see where I had placed the product or it would not have a good color to it. I was completely wrong. It went on smoothly and have a beautiful color. The color lasted for weeks and didn't come off on my towels or sheets. It was a natural and bronzed-looking color, and I will be buying this product again and again.

Great sunless tanning mousse that has beautiful, yet practical packaging. I don't think I've ever seen one come in a clear container before - it's sooo nice to be able to see how much product you have left! You can even take the nozzle off, which I think will be useful for when you buy another before running out and want to combine them. Just make sure the top is screwed on tightly, it will leak if not. Smells like a high-end perfume upon application, but not overwhelming if you're sensitive to scents. Once it starts to develop there is the typical "sunless tanner" smell, but that's going to happen with any product containing DHA. Easy to apply with a felt hand mitt, the foam spreads well and no issues with streaking. There's no bronzer to use as a color guide, so if you're a beginner at self-tanner, you might have a hard time making sure you got every area. I do multiple coats anyways so no issue there, and it was kind of nice not having that "clearly put on a sunless tanner" look. I am very fair (think Nicole Kidman pale) and combined with my dry skin, it's usually hard for me to much color payoff in one application. This did a great job of providing a natural looking tan without looking orange. My skin also felt like silk after washing it off! Would definitely recommend.

Despite living in Florida, I am always so pale, so I am forever on the look out for a sunless tanner to give me that sunkissed glow that I don't have time to achieve. I recently came across this and I am so glad I did. I love the mousse/foamy consistency, as it makes application quick and easy. I just use a glove, and rub it in all of the needed areas that need some color. I did note that it did not have a bronzer included, so the color did not immediately show on my skin (but that was to be expected). At first, I was nervous that I would leave blotches due to poor application on my end, but it actually blended quite well and gave me a nice color. I just left it on overnight to get the full effect, and showered in the morning as I usually do. It did have a bit of an orange/red undertone, but those are my skin undertones, so it looked great. I did also note that it dried very quickly, and did not leave any sort of sticky feeling on my skin.
Overall, I feel like this was a great self tanner, and will keep me from exposing my skin to UV rays, which is much healthier and safer. I give it a 10/10 and cannot wait to continue using it!

This product is amazing!! I've tried a few different self tanners and they're either way to dark or when it fades it looks super bad! With this product it was a nice even color that is more realistic and could pass as it not being a self tan. It works in about 6 hours and lasts for about 2 weeks with one application if you're not in chlorinated water or anything like that. I also love that when it fades it still looks nice!

I have mixed emotions on this tanner so here goes. Upon first using, the smell is amazing! It takes a bit to dry or not feel sticky. It reminded me of a real spray tan feel. The color was great except on my knees and ankles- quite possibly my fault for not applying correctly. It got better after I showered however the smell went from the perfume smell to a typical spray tan smell even after showering. The color itself lasts for days which is amazing! Since it goes on clear you must be sure to get it everywhere or you can definitely tell where you stop. A little goes a long way so it will last you a long time!

This product is the best tanning mousse! Product has great quality and value. This product has easy application, dries almost instantly, and doesn't leave streaks on your skins or stains on your clothes. I will be purchasing for of this product to compliment my tan during summer and keep it going all winter long.

We're inching toward spring and I've never been paler. I was excited but nervous to try the hydra-mousse. I love the idea of a tanning "water", something that won't stain my sheets or clothes- by also feared the colorless application.
After I moisturized, I used my trusty tanning mitt and applied to my legs. The mousse is super light and airy and it felt like only a few pumps and I was done. It dried really fast- which I loved. No gummy, sticky feeling, just light and hydrated. I was also concerned about going for the med/dark, thinking it might be too intense- but this product is very buildable and doesn't start super dark. I thought the color it gave me was natural and pretty much steak free. I'd say this runs a little orange, but not terrible. The scent is pleasant with just a little of the tanner smell undertones.

I have always lived the tan luxe line, however this foam is a cut above the rest. It does not leave your skin smelling funky and the color is so natural looking. This does not turn your skin any type of orange color like others, and as long as you wash your hands good after application, there is no excessive overdeveloping on the hands either. You will not regret buying this product! So worth it!

Packaging is well done. After applying Tan Luxe Hydra Mousse Medium/Dark it blended perfectly into my skin. I left it on over night and woke up to a beautiful tan. The base color was a little orangish but after a couple days they orangish color went away. I recommend

I love this! There's no strong odor & it gives a nice, natural tan with no orange tones. I applied with a basic velvet mitt & it went on flawlessly! It didn't take a lot to get a good glow but you could probably use a bit more to get a darker color if wanted.

I have tried lots of mousse before and this one is by far is the best. It's holds the style , smells good and lighten the color especially if your using lace wigs. It's easy to apply, the pump works perfect as well.

I got the Hydra Mousse in medium/dark. This is my first time using self tanner but the directions were easy to read and understand. So far the product hasn't left a stain or residue on any of my clothes or bed sheets. It has a nice smell as well

I'm so surprised at how well this made my skin glow!! I did as instructed & it made a BEAUTIFUL temporary tan on me!! Someone even mentioned to me how pretty and glowing my skin was! I was ecstatic! I will be recommending this from now on!!

Bottle is slim enough to take with you on the go. The nozzle is my favorite part it's big enough to push with gloves on and the foam comes out fully. The tan itself take a little to develop and stains like any other tanner if you put clothes on right away but the day after the tan looks amazing. Love love love

Coming form a seasoned self tanner this product is GOOD. It's clear so you have to be careful about watching where you have applied it but this is more of a pro as you don't stain anything while applying it! The color comes out beautifully bronze without any orange tinge. It lasted a good amount of time with moisturizer. Some people have an issues applying it to the face but it works well if you mix it with your regular face cream! I was very partial to another brand but after trying this it may very well be my new go too!

Since it's winter, I decided to apply this to only one leg and compare the before/after. Full disclosure, I have extremely pale skin and I always choose the medium/dark shade of self-tanning products which is not recommended. It looks a little orange at first but after one shower it's perfect!
I took a shower, shaved my legs, exfoliated, and used some of that in-shower moisturizer to prep my skin. The foam smells SO good. The directions didn't specify exactly how to apply, so I pumped the foam directly onto my leg. Then I rubbed it in a circle motion per the directions. It dried very quickly, and then I went to bed. The color was fully developed when I woke up.

Not too light not too hard. Just right it takes about 8 hours or so for the tan to truly show up. A little bit goes a long way - the more you put on the darker it will be. Easy to apply and absorbs quickly
