Happy with purchase
First time using High impact shadow, I'm liking it! Two things, I wish Clinique also had matte shades and lastly, for me I needed to use eye primer. First timing using I skipped primer and I had creases, next time I used prime and it lasted all day. I need to add I have oily eyelids.

It seriously bothers me how every time Clinique changes a product the supposed "lifetime Clinique fans" come out in droves to complain about it. I liked the old chubby sticks, but I also really like these. I don't use the sponge applicator for the powder end because I do have a hard time getting it to look right. However, I love to use the stick end for all over color (blended with a shadow brush) and then I bounce my angled liner brush in the powder end and use that for eyeliner. (Anybody else remember when Clinique made the stick eyeliners with the powder end for smudging? I miss those!) It's perfect for when I'm short on time but want a polished look, which means I end up reaching for these most mornings. I have the pink honey/black honey, flame + ember, and the navy blue one (don't remember the name off the top of head), and I love them all! I absolutely plan on extending my collection as well. I've used Clinique for nearly 30 years and I've seen lots of products come and go — some I miss, some I don't — but keeping an open mind makes adapting to change a lot easier.
Need a matte shade option
I liked the convenience of dual ended application however, the shadow stick broke & fell out after several applications. If they had a matte shade option, I would purchase again.

I purchased the pink honey/black honey product. This pink was a little too pink for my skin coloring, but I was looking for a replacement for the chubby sticks shadow and this was Clinique's only alternative. I had not used the product much since I purchased it in August. Today when I went to use it, the shadow stick fell out of the applicator. While waiting for the online customer service chat, I read reviews of this product and apparently I am not the only person this has happened to. Unfortunately it has been over 30 days since I purchased the product, it cannot be returned and I cannot get a replacement or refund. After I questioned if there was nothing else Clinique could do, the customer service agent offered a 15% off discount on my next order. I won't be using it to replace this product, which clearly needs some more research and development when it comes to the packaging.
