this whole line is great for winter because it puts a protective barrier between the cold and your skin, making it nearly impossible to get dry, flaky skin after about 2 uses. the protective hand balm is NEXT LEVEL GREAT. it heals any cracks or chapping and keeps moisture in. a must for anyone who is a frequent hand washer (I mean beyond covid paranoia-like if you're a chef and have to wash your hands frequently) The lip balm is also very emollient and healing but I can't remember if Ulta sells it. all in all, you can't go wrong with this line. as far as the scent, it's a light Patchouli. I love Patchouli so,I enjoy the smell. if you like Patchouli, you'll dig it.
as for the comment that thinks they can fail a drug test from using this, UMMMM, NO. you can't. what drug tests look for is THC. hemp has zero psychotropic properties, as it has no THC. bottom line, use to your heart's content, you will not fail a drug test from it.
This is a decent shower oil. It lathers okay and rinses clean. However, THE SMELL! I used it once and was overwhelmed by the most repulsive smell. I had a scratch n sniff book when I was a kid and it had a scratch n sniff skunk, and this smells exactly like that. My husband, with no prompting from me, said my skin smelled like a scratch n sniff sticker after I used this. I gave it away after one use. The smell lingers on the skin for a long time too. I would caution anyone sensitive to strong smells to stay far away from this product.
Took a star away, because I feel it could be stronger in the oil area. Still feel the need for lotion. With that said, my skin felt really refreshed and cleansed, not dried out at all. The smell is light and pretty much dissipated by the time I finished my shower. The price makes it worth the buy.
I use this after my La roche Posay gentle wash and use the dry oil after shower and follow by my la roche posay moisturizer cream. Awesome
I was worried about the smell, but I was pleasantly surprised it has a mild scent. It does foams not a lot but sufficient enough. Rinse well
This is an OK shower oil, I would prefer it had more oil properties in it, so you could forgo the lotion stage. The smell is different, but it in no way lingers, and I do not find it to be a very strong scent. I like it, but I didn't have the usual ahh moment I have with body shop products. I was a TBS consultant in a previous life, still addicted to their products.
