Most Helpful Positive Review Hair very soft and smells great I've been having issues with my hair feeling dry like straw towards the bottom but greasy at the top. This product along with the conditioner made my hair really soft. Absolutely love the smell. Packing was different then snow on here. It was in a tall slender square bottle that I find really hard to get the product out and have to push it against the corner of the shower to get out. That is my only negative. This was the first buying this brand and having got thru the first bottle yet looking forward to seeing what continued use provide.
Most Helpful Critical Review Can't Really Recommend It I was a little on the fence about buying this, because I try to be really mindful of shampoos that use too many chemicals. This ingredient label is more synthetic than I'd prefer, but I hear L'Anza has a good rep and I know it's a salon-sold brand, so I figured I'd give it a shot while it was on BOGO50 sale.
I used this once and was immediately turned off by the smell. It wasn't bad enough to give me a headache, but it was too strong and too fake of a scent for my taste (though had the product performed, I would've been willing to overlook and adjust).
I liked the lather and consistency in the shower, but I could tell as I was trying to rinse it out that it was definitely leaving a residue behind. Uh-oh! I figured okay maybe it just doesn't feel smooth but will look okay. Well, it looked decent enough on wash day after I blowdried. Nothing spectacular though. It did look smooth and hide my breakage flyaways, I'll give it that. But as the day went on, it started to just...feel heavy. If you're not a label reader, make note that this product is not silicone-free! It contains Silicone Quaternium-3, so it can definitely weigh down certain people's hair and create buildup and breakage. (Bad on me...I somehow overlooked this ingredient when I was buying.)
I only shampoo every other day, and let me tell you...day two was not pretty. It was heavy, piecey, greasy looking. Even dry shampoo wouldn't help it much. I just had to make the best of it and go to work, but I said NOPE not washing again with this. I can't even imagine how much build-up would accrue with each wash in the future. Blech. What's really funny? I didn't even use the conditioner with it, and it was this nasty.
Honestly, for this product being meant to help scalps, I don't see how it can if it's going to make that much immediate buildup? I don't know, maybe it's just not for me. For this being my first go-round with a L'Anza product, I'm not thrilled.

I have scalp psoriasis and this is the only thing that has ever given me any relief. please keep this in stock!!!!! it's my go to!
Amazing for head to toe "skin issues" 5

It's called a cleanser instead of a shampoo because you can use it in your hair and scalp issues…and also your overall body skin issues! Soothes and is a great "one and done" product.

It smells clean, however, the residue it leaves behind is so GROSSSSSS. Skip this product for the price. Way overrated.
Pleasant experience 5

I suffer rom dermatitis especially on my scalp. This shampoo was so mild yet foamy, that felt very delicious on my head. I applied it to my scalp specifically, sectioning my hair. It smells like shaving lotion, but in a pleasant way.
My scalp does feel relieved and didn't have flakes after I dried my hair. Used it in combination with the hair mask and my hair is super soft.

I use this cleanser with their conditioner as well and this product has saved my hair and scalp! I get psoriasis on my scalp and at times will flare up and get very itchy and flaky and that's when I use this and it helps instantly! It is the only thing that relieves a psoriasis flare up! I don't use it every time I shampoo because it's a bit pricey, But I will use it at least once a week. I have been using it with the conditioner for almost 2 years now and I plan to always use it in the future!

I have color treated hair with oily scalp and dry ends. I used this product thinking it would help me with my scalp and dry ends. I was very wrong! It ended up stripping my hair of my hair color! My hair color looks so faded now. Do not use if you have color treated hair. I also used it along side the conditioner and even with both combined, I got horrible results. Did not help with my oily scalp either. I will note that I used it once, but I was not trying to continue to strip my hair color any more so I refused to use it again. Even with the one use I could tell it wasn't going to work for me.. I was hoping this was going to be a winner because all the positive reviews, but I really think if you have any type of color treated hair, do NOT use!
First product that does what it says! 5

I recently for the first time in my life have had to deal with a dry, flaky and itchy scalp, this is the only product that I've tried that actually took care of the problem....and in only two shampoos! I love the scent, cooling sensation and that it is safe on color treated hair....a win win!
Second time buying this product, it works wonders 5

After weeks of fighting greasy hair and then suddenly some dandruff I knew I needed help. I remembered I used this product in the past to help my scalp and after the first time washing it with L'anza my hair is back to healthy. No grease oily build up or dandruff.
This shampoo is AMAZING! 5

Started using Lanza after going to a new salon, and I will NEVER use anything else!! I was using the healing moisture line after putting some blonde in my hair, and since I wash my hair daily after a workout, I was noticing dry hair, but oily scalp at the end of the day! So I grabbed a bottle of this to try, and it's PERFECT! My hair feels silky and soft, and my scalp seems to be perfectly evened out! I keep waiting for the point where this brand starts to "stop working", but it's consistent through about 5 bottles! Worth EVERY PENNY! Don't be scared by the price, you don't need to use a lot, and I have long thick hair... I used to go through a liter of conditioner to a half a bottle of shampoo using other brands. Because this is so pricey, I use a little more than a quarter sized squirt of conditioner, and it's perfect!

I used to LOVE this shampoo and conditioner. Literally my favorite. However, it seems like they changed the formula when they changed the packaging. My scalp now feels try and tight after using this. I also find it much more difficult to use the square bottles.
I keep buying cause it helps scalp 5

This is one of the few dry scalp shampoos that is sulfate free so I can use it even after keratin treatments.
It works well
