Add to that medication that caused hair loss, my hair was flat, limp, with no body to the point that I started wearing wigs. I tried other products, but they just didn't work. I decided to try the Keranique trial set. I knew the first time I used the shampoo and conditioner that I'd found a winner before I even stepped out of the shower!! My wet hair felt fuller already!! I continued using the shampoo, conditioner and the regrowth product and it wasn't long before I stopped wearing wigs!! My hair is in the best condition it's been in for years! I just LOVE my hair!!!! My stylist could see the difference as soon as I walked in the door. She was amazed at all the new growth. It isn't mentioned anywhere in their instructions or warnings how dangerous this product is to cats. I was lucky that I stumbled across information online the night before I planned to use the product on myself. Even if you try to be careful, Minoxidil is severely toxic to cats and their bodies can't break it down. It can build up in their bodies from a series of small exposures and become fatal (or can be fatal from a smaller amount large exposures). In any case, this is a risky product for cat owners...so risky that I'm upset they didn't warn about it. Surely they aren't required by law to warn pet owners but it would be an ethical move to take the initiative and warn people, considering how many people have cats.
