The Best Results I've Gotten.A friend suggested I try the product. I have to say that it is the best results I've gotten yet. I've tried all the different Hair Loss shampoos and this is the best. Within a couple of months my hair was growing in again. I couldn't believe it. It is still a little thin, but it's MUCH better. I can't believe it. I also started using the Bosley Healthy Hair Vitality Supplement for Women and it really works great in conjunction with the Nioxin!Probably Not Typical ResultsPros: You know when it's on your scalp because the peppermint & menthol tingle. Its definately not for my hair type. It breaks the curl pattern BAD and by 2nd day it looks and feels as though I hadnt washed my hair in a month or more. I usually wash my hair once a week, but that was not possible with this series 5. I gave it a chance and have used about a half a bottle of the shampoo and conditioner and the results are the same every time. Awful looking and feeling hair as if I didnt rinse enough or rinsed too much. I dont ever use this word, but I looked RATCHET. Ive never been embarrassed to go to work on bad hair days, but this was next level bad. Waves go stringy and straight, and ringlets look like they have given up on life. Ends of my hair turned into that feathery damage that you get if you bleached your hair one too many times. I had "red dessert wine" highlights, they looked like damaged auburn blonde after the 2nd wash. I DO however like the Night Density Rescue. Same light tingle, doesnt seem to weigh my hair down. I do have to wash it more often, but that's expected with a leave in oil.

The shampoo was not my favorite as it seemed to make my hair feel tangled and hard to comb. But once I used the conditioner, it made all of the difference! I highly recommend getting both the shampoo and conditioner together. I'll never use the shampoo without the conditioner.

I was ready to get an idea of what to expect based on what the user had to say compared to what the company has to say. They sound pretty spot on. The company does warn about the redness. And I personally know that I certainly won't get the same reaction as everyone else. Otherwise, we would have all won the lottery by now, right?

More fallout

I only used this for about 2 weeks and decided to return it because I was noticing more fallout during my showers compared to other systems I've used. I didn't notice a difference in the way my hair looked either, which I guess is expected for the short amount of time I used it. Also for supposedly helping dry hair, I didn't notice any softness or shine added to my color-treated hair.

I have only used it a couple of times....it smells sooooooo good. It made my hair feel soft and that squeaky clean feeling. It also "tingles" on you scalp...feels great~ I felt like my hair had more volume also. The way my hair felt so soft, and breezy.
