How to Use

Cleanser: Apply to wet hair, gently massage into scalp and hair. Lather 1 minute. Rinse thoroughly. Use daily.

Scalp Therapy Conditioner: Apply from scalp to ends. Leave on for 1-3 minutes. Rinse. Follow with Nioxin Scalp Treatment.

Scalp and Hair Treatment: Apply directly to entire scalp. Gently massage into scalp. Do not rinse. Use daily. May cause temporary redness to scalp after application.

I was shocked and upset and all everyone would tell me is "this happens". A mother of a life long friend who had been a hair stylist all her life told me to try Nioxin. I used it almost exclusively for years. It makes a huge difference! First of all you have to give it time. Hair takes time to grow and so you will not see immediate growth. You should notice a more balanced scalp, less shedding and more volume to the hair once styled. It will not be as noticeably thinning after even one use. You do have to be consistent. I do not wash my hair daily bc I tend to have a drier scalp and skin to begin with. Now in my early 40's I've started the system again bc stress is thinning my hair out at the crown. I forgot how great this stuff feels on your scalp and how clean your scalp is after using it. You do need to apply the conditioner to your scalp. Rinse well! And my advice is to use another product on the ends. It can be a little drying. I should mention my hair is now a dark color treated red. Make sure you get the version for color treated hair so it doesn't strip color bc the other versions can over time. I was told not to wear tight ponytails on the top of my head or to twist my hair up in a towel as not to pull or break off more hair. Moral of the story: if you're frustrated with thinning hair and losing volume try this and give it a solid 3-6 month go at minimum. I had results and it honestly was a lifesaver for me.
