I bought this product after having no luck with Ouidad's regular hairspray when looking for added volume. Wow did this product deliver! It gave my otherwise kind of lifeless long curls a LOT of texture and added volume and overall thickness. I knocked one star off only because I found my hair to be a bit of a gritty texture after using this, but with all that it does I'm not sure that's really a fault since it IS a texturizer. I will definitely keep using this and buy again!
I was lucky enough to try Ouidad Going Up thanks to Buzz Agent. I was so excited and I decided to take my time and try this over several weeks instead of rushing to post my review. I will say that this stuff smells truly amazing but that's where the pros stop. The first time I tried using it, I scrunched my hair with it instead of using hairspray. I noticed right away this horrible film in my hair. It felt incredibly terrible. Also, there was no extra volume but my hair did smell good. I thought maybe I just used too much. The next time I used it, I mixed it with my hairspray but I still felt that film. I did not like it. So I decided I would only use it on my roots from there on out. Sadly, I got the same results. Honestly, Ouidad Going Up provides no extra volume and leaves a terrible residue on your hair no matter how little or where you spray it. The only good that comes out of it is the wonderful fragrance it provides. That being said, I will not be purchasing this in the future nor can I recommend this product to anyone else.

I dont even know how it works, it was SOOOOO perfumed i had to rewash my hair. If youre sensitive to smells AT ALL this is very strong perfume. Esp since it goes on dry hair its even stronger than their jelly i use which is bearable.

Found out about this product from my curly hair expert hairdresser. Her trick was to apply it on wet/damp hair. It helps speed up the drying process when diffusing & gives added volume. I have thin 2A-3B hair & it works like magic to define my curls & give them more volume.

I use this on humid days and to give my roots lift. I love the neutral smell and that it isn't sticky or gooey.

I try every texture out there! I have a lot of hair but it's fine and lacks volume so I'm alert looking to add texture and fullness. This is a good one. It adds a decent amount of fullness and smells nice. I will definitely keep this one in my rotation

I sprayed this on my curls shortly after conditioning them and it made them so dry and sticky. Took forever to brush out my curls and I had to do major hair mask therapy to bring back some moisture. Definitely not worth it, especially with the price.
