Most Helpful Positive Review My skin loves this I love this product! With it being the winter months , my skin tends to get very dry and itchy . I was stoked to try this in shower lotion . I love the consistency of this , it's thick , and silky just like lotion . I use it on my legs and rinse off before shaving for a softer and closer shave . I also use this all over while I'm in the shower . What's great about this is when you rinse it off , you still feel the softness on your skin even after the shower and it actually makes you feel cleaner . Another plus is the scent , a lightly fruity grapefruit scent that's not overbearing or fake smelling . What a great product, this is my go to for a before shave moisturizer. I am very happy with this and I would highly recommend.
Most Helpful Critical Review It moisturized my skin but not for long. I received the Soap & Glory All The Right Smoothes™ In Shower Moisturizer and tried it out the same night. Since then I have used it twice and I have mixed emotions about it. On the one hand, it is very silky and smooth, applies well in the shower, moisturizes my skin and has an okay scent. On the other hand, I have to use a bunch to cover my whole body, it contains oils so it can make your shower floor slippery, and the moisture doesn't stick around like when I use lotion and/or a body butter. Since it's pretty cold during the winter where I live, I'm always in need of a good moisturizer for my dry, itchy skin. This gave me "some" moisture, but it lacks longevity. My skin was pretty dry by the time I got into bed. All in all, I enjoy in-shower moisturizers because it's one less step I have to worry about. This one was just okay for me. I would suggest this to someone who doesn't have super dry skin but just needs a boost of hydration.

For me the in-shower moisturizer is just okay. I LOVE their cleansing balm so I tried this, but it fell a little short of the mark. I'm not super crazy about the scent, luckily it doesn't stick around long. It is moisturizing, but that doesn't seem to stick around long, either. On the plus side, I have incredibly sensitive skin and it's never given me any irritation or breakouts. I've used it for shaving and it's been really nice for that, too. I'll probably switch back to my Jergen's in-shower moisturizer when I've finished the bottle.
Obsessed, now a routine staple 5
LMN from NC
Such a great product. I use to remove makeup and products from the day as the first step in my double cleansing routine. Performs as well if not better than some of its pricier competitors. A little goes far so it lasts, too. Will definitely repurchase and continue to use.
holy grail cleansing balm 5
dani from Michigan
I've repurchased this twice now and just adore it. It really melts your makeup down, even stubborn mascara. It doesn't irritate my eyes and makes my skin feeling soft. I double cleanse afterward using a gentle cleanser, and my skin is left feeling SO clean. One jar lasts a veeery long time as you need less than a dime sized amount to cover your entire face. I recommend taking atleast 30 seconds to gently massage this into your skin for the best results.
Caused my skin to break out 1
Tams from OKC
I wanted to love this because it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. However, every time I've used this, I've had breakouts. If you have sensitive or acne prone skin, proceed with caution!
Decent face wash but horrible makeup remover 2
Rare unicorn from Virginia
I'd say it's a decent face wash. It doesn't strip your skin of moisture and leaves it feeling moisturized and soft afterwards. But not good at removing makeup, especially eye makeup. It just makes your vision blurry if you use it on your eyes. Not worth it.
Love the brand 5

I'm an Ulta employee & was finding something like Clinique take the day off balm for an affordable price & I love this tried it for the first time tonight. I've tried other products from this brand & I love it.
Best eye makeup remover 5
HB from Northern CA
This cleansing balm is the best at removing eye makeup. I apply this cleansing balm first and rinse it off. Then, I use a facial cleanser and rinse that off. It does feel like it melts away the makeup. I have oily, non-sensitive skin. I've used DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and Farmacy Green Clean and they both leave makeup behind. There's a slight smell, but it does not bother me. I will continue to purchase it in the future.
Works but smells funky 2

I personally don't like the scent of this product but it does work.
Love In-Shower Moisturizers 5
Cassie T from California
In-shower moisturizers are one of my favorite ways to moisturize. You apply while in the shower, rinse off, and then bam you do not need to waste the time once you are out to apply moisturizer. The difference I have found with in-shower moisturizers is how well they moisturize and if they leave a film behind. The Soap & Glory In-Shower Moisturizer does an amazing job of moisturizing without leaving a film behind on the skin. I am hoping that Soap & Glory will start releasing additional scents to their line as that is the only thing that would make this better.
This is the best cleansing balm 5
hfox from Alexandria
This cleansing balm removes your entire makeup without stinging or feeling greasy at the end. The skin doesn't feel tight afterwards, it feels clean. Doesn't break you out or sting your eyes. This is amazing!
Will become a staple 5
Mocarose from Florida
First off I hate wipes because after rigorously trying to take off my makeup my skin feels raw and I hate it. The makeup water I don't care too much for so I purchased this and immediately fell in love. When I tell you a little goes a long way but it came off super easy. And I didn't waste my face wash. Definitely a staple.
Gets the job done 5

Melts makeup, doesn't burn and feels moisturizing!
It does what it's supposed to 4
Kat from York, pa
It's not the best smelling lotion, but the fragrance doesn't linger so that's good. It's about the same as other in shower moisturizers I've used. It does what it's supposed to.
Absolutely love this product! 5
Lauren from Connecticut
This is the first cleansing balm I've ever used and I absolutely love it! I was originally leaning towards a different brand, but opted for the Soap & Glory option because they are cruelty free and I have enjoyed all of their products I've tried in the past. I mostly use this balm on my makeup wearing days and love the way it leaves my skin feeling after each use. It's very gentle, cleanses well, and leaves my face feeling soft without leaving any residue behind. I will continue to repurchase this product.
So nice! 5
Tina from VA
This is a great product for keeping yourself moisturized while you're still in the shower. Nice and light fragrance but feels good, isn't greasy, and the softness lasts for days after.
Unexpected love! 5
Skincare junkie from Texas
I happened to see this while I was grabbing something else, and thought it was worth a try. I'm so impressed, why haven't I heard of this before?! I love cleansing balms for removing makeup, first cleanse, especially for falscara glue removal because it's STRONG and hard to remove! Smooth, creamy, feels nice and clean before nighttime skin care!
The best first cleanser for a double cleanse. 5
Cole916 from Sacramento
I have tried nine different "pre-cleansers" in my nighttime double cleanse routine and this one is by far the best! It takes off everything!
Comparable to Clinique! 5
B from Idaho
I have started purchasing this balm over clinique's, it's comparable and you can't beat the price!
PERFECT!!! 5
alena from usa
i can't find a single flaw with this product.
it works super super well removing both makeup and sunscreen, doesn't leave your skin or eyes feeling oily, and is very easy to use!! i have tried multiple oil cleansers and cleansing balms (klairs, banilla co, burts bees, peach slices) and i have to say this isn't comparable. literally flawless. please try it out.
The best cleansing balm!! 5
T from Fresno
I've tried so many different products and by far soap & glory did an amazing job on this product. This works so well to remove makeup and double cleanse. Makes you're face feel clean and refreshed and literally melts you're makeup off.

Buying the big one next time! 5
One happy camper from Adrian, Michigan
I would never buy something like this but for some reason I decided to and I do not regret it. I love this to the highest! It's so quick and easy and effective. I don't dread washing my face anymore, I look forward to it. My favorite part is it gets it all, ALL of the makeup, even mascara. Usually washing my face regularly there would still be some remnants of mascara smudged under my eyes. But not with this stuff! Will be purchasing again for sure!
My new go-to 5
Meesh from Connecticut
This cleansing balm is awesome. It breaks makeup down well and doesn't irritate my skin like wipes. I use it to pre-cleanse, but it seems to do a great job on its own.
Awesome 5
Myrna from Atlanta, GA
I've used makeup wipes for years and finally decided I was tired of the waste, and I'd heard they're bad for your skin. So I decided to try this balm to take my makeup off before my cleanser. It is awesome! Waterproof eyebrow pencil, mascara, eyeliner, poof! Gone without a trace! And I feel it's so much better for my skin than tugging at it with makeup wipes. Highly recommend!
Leaves my skin feeling tight 3
Alex from Md
I recently ran out of my oil cleaner and decided to try this. It gets the cleaning job done, but unlike other oil cleaners I've tried it leaves my skin feeling tight after use. My skin is soft the next day but feels stripped right after use.
