I plan to buy a few of these for my daughters and my mom. It is very well made, detangles extremely well. Painless and effective and quick. Of course, it looks cool too. Matter of fact, my 11-year-old son took this and decided this would be his comb for his hair so, now I am in need of a few for the rest of us! I initially thought this would work fairly well for my 14-year-old daughter for her scalp and scalp treatments in the shower and for combing through conditioners and it has helped. Tremendously. Not only for in-shower use or for helping to scrape during scalp treatments but it was very easy to clean before her little brother claimed it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who just wants a cool-looking comb that has real benefits and for those who are in absolute need of detangling and not pulling hair or causing pain when trying to get the tangles out and make your hair soft and silky smooth!Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot for thick or curlyI had my teen daughter try this comb out. After having her try this for a week we discovered this is a great comb for thin straight hair. This is a wide tooth comb and helps to detangle, especially if the hair is wet. We would not benefit from this comb - we have thick hair. My daughter had a hard time getting knots out of her thick curly hair and it hurt her head a lot - the comb got stuck in her hair and almost broke 3. I wouldn't it hurts my head and doesn't take out knots in my hair (I have curly and thick hair) and it almost broke a few times. When I was sent this comb to try I figured it would be like the others, it is not. I'm guessing it is the glossiness of the surface, but this one glides through my hair and keeps frizziness to a minimum. It is so simple but it has become one of my favorite beauty items. I have wavy/curly hair and live in Phoenix, AZ. During the monsoon, humidity rises and my hair goes wild. This comb has been a heaven-sent helper.
