How To Use

Iâ€™M IN LOVE!Over the last few years, Iâ€™ve gotten into taking care of my skin - especially my face. Iâ€™m a Caucasian female but I have always told people that my skin color is red, because my arms and face truly were a shade of red. Come to find out, my skin type is hypersensitive and no product was going to stop my skin from appearing red - until Josephine Skriver [fashion model] and my Momma told me about AvÃ¨ne. I watched a video that Josephine was featured in, and she swears by the thermal spring water spray, and then my Momma did research for me because I had an allergic reaction to a product from Skin Food. Since discovering AvÃ¨ne, I have fallen in love with every single product I have bought, and my face is living proof that they all work wonderfully. They are all super light and donâ€™t leave my face looking greasy. I canâ€™t wait to discover more! Thank you, AvÃ¨ne for renewing my faith in my skin and transforming my face into the radiate beauty it was always supposed to be.Not good!I am not a big fan of toners and always feel they can be quite harsh on the skin, so never really use them, and after sampling this I think I will be sticking to my original plan. The fact this was advertised as a 'gentle toner', made me curious to see if I would notice any difference in my skin. When I noticed, however, that there is a heavy amount of fragrance in the ingredients list, I am certain it's not the gentlest of toners. I applied some onto a cotton ball and after cleansing, patted it onto my dry face and upper neck area. My face did sting slightly around the eye area, but I thought it was the product just settling in. In all honesty after a few uses, I didn't really notice any difference to my skin, apart from the texture which became slightly drier, certainly not more uniform or tight looking. If I am paying a bit more for a toner, I would expect to see something positive at least, but this just didn't cut it for me. This toner is very gentle and perfect for sensitive skin. Does not have an overpowering fragrance like some toners do. Leaves skin very soft.

Been using this for a decade+ at the rec of my derm. Highly reactive skin and I LOVE make up. Taking it off is always irritating but this toner gets EVERY LAST BIT. Gentle enough to use around my inflamed eyelids and moisturizing to my dried-out forehead - it's THE best.

I got this toner when I had to return a different product. The moisturizing aspect of it really appealed to me, as I have dry skin. I love the way it works, removing residual makeup, but it is a bit pricey. May buy again, only when I get 20% off.

I've gone through bottles and bottles of this toner. Whenever I try something else, I always go back to this. It removes all traces of makeup that my cleansing didn't get. It's gentle enough for morning and night. I will never be without this.
