How To Use

Dampen hands and skin and apply a small amount of cleanser onto the face. Gently massage in circular motions and rinse with water. Use 2-3 times per week. Follow up with a moisturizer.

Best exfoliator ever!I'm throwing out my mesh facial scrubbers, brushes and abrasive scrubs. This is the best product I've ever used for exfoliating. I've tried similar products with the fruit enzymes in them that were way more expensive and they didn't work as well as this and were difficult to use because they would ball up in my fine facial hair. This doesn't. Super pleasant to use, fast (doesn't need to sit on the skin for any length of time), shockingly effective, and unbelievably affordable. This is THE product I've been searching for my whole life. I've just purchased 2 more bottles.Very midleading....Yes there are ingredients in this exfoliant that will definitely help remove dead skin from the face, but everyone thinking that the stuff rolling or pilling up as they massage it in is skin, is being midled to believe this is more effective than it really is. What you see balling up on the skin is actually the cellulose added to the exfoliant, it is not skin. Cellulose has to rubbed quite a bit with a good amount of friction before it will pill or ball up, but it will. I make my own products and everytime I have used cellulose, it balls up when I rub it in leading me to have to change to another "thickener". Cellulose can help give a little "texture" to products to help with sloughing off dead skin, but I assure you, what you see is almost entirely cellulose balling up, not dead skin. I think elf should be putting this myth to rest.

I have very sensitive skin and only use a product like this once a week. This product is like using nothing - no palpable scrub, no suds, no scent. Doesn't do anything to my skin. Pump stopped working after a few uses. I love elf, have never been disappointed like this. ☹️

Amazing! I have VERY sensitive skin. In just one use, I woke up to skin that was glowing. My redness was reduced and my pores appeared to be minimized. No issues with application. I did use in shower on damp skin not dry. I didn't use foundation this morning because my skin looked so good!

I did a lot of research before puchasing as I've never exfoliated my face before and was looking for a product that was gentle. I have extremely pale and sensitive skin and this product did not irritate me in any way. I didn't experience any tingling or burning like others have said. The first time I used this product I didn't think it was doing much, in the reviews it says it's just the product balling up on itself. I don't doubt that but I also think that it is some of your dead skin coming off too; as I tested it on other body parts that I exfoliate on the second use and it didn't ball/clump up at all. It rubbed in like lotion. I even put more on my face after using it once already and it didn't clump then either. I do believe this product works but it's just SUPER gentle. Which is why I took a star off because it's almost too gentle but I knew this was a possibility when purchasing, so it's no biggie. For the price, it being cruelty free, vegan, non irritating to my sensitive skin & being a good introduction to exfoliating, I'm overall happy. I would recommend to those looking for something gentle, just starting off exfoliating, have senstive skin concerns, or even those who want to give their skin a break from harsher exfoliant use.
