I basically have untreated (hasn't been highlighted in a couple years) brownish blonde hair. I purchased this product to help blend in the greys that I had sporadically throughout my scalp. Did it do what I had hoped, no. Did it make a difference, yes. I've used it 4 times so far and see a difference so I am hopeful that continued use will show additional improvement. I was alerted to the smell by past reviews and yes it is quite jarring at first. It doesn't smell bad, but it's a REALLY strong floral smell. If I shower at night, the smell is gone by morning, but it reactivates when your hair gets wet. If I go to the gym or just rinse my hair you can smell the floral scents. Again, not horrible just takes some getting used to. I'm fine with it now. It makes my hair feel soft and clean and doesn't dry it out.

Good shampoo
I use this sort of as a monthly detox shampoo with the packets to go with it. I feel like it gives me some volume and life back to my hair. It refreshes my hair from hard minerals in water, etc.
