Interesting Primer

My lashes came out pink.  Yes, pink!  This lash primer is pink based.  I've never tried a pink based primer before.  Very interesting!  After my experience, I understood the concept of why it is pink.Here's my understanding.  The pink serves as a guidance and allows me to see clearly and exactly whe...re I have coated my lashes and where I have missed in certain areas.  If I were to use a clear primer, I wouldn't see this.  I think this is a genius idea.  Now with the pink primer, I can properly apply without missing a spot.I find the primer a little sticky and thick in consistency.  It feels almost like a real mascara.  But it is not.  I definitely can't wear this alone, unless I feel confident in showing off my pink lashes.  After applying the primer, I see that it gives my lashes some curl and it helps hold the curl in place as I get ready for my mascara application.  Now here's where the magic happens.  As I am applying my mascara, the pink color from the primer disappears.  My mascara actually sweeps away the pink color.  It's so amazing.  I really praise the brand for developing this kind of "magic".  This is such an innovative touch on the brand's part.  The product feels a little heavy on my lashes.  I have noticed that the primer dries fast, so I would recommend working fast to apply your regular everyday mascara.   Overall, it has done well in giving my lashes volume.  It preps my lashes well by lifting and holding the curl.  It maintains the volume for a good period of time.  I feel that my lashes are stronger and I see less breakage and fallout.   But it didn't do so well with preventing smudging and transferring.  I still experience flakes and specks falling onto my under eye area.  Soon to follow is a ring of black mascara under my eyes.  If this primer can help prevent these, then it would be an absolute favorite.
