Most Helpful Positive Review Looks Gorgeous! but eats your eyelook This truly gives a glass skin look. I don't find it moves my foundation around or makes it last any longer. It just gives a sheen to the skin.
My favorite way to use this is to powder my face lightly to set my under eyes and the places of my face where I know I want to mattify after the spray. And I mean a LIGHT powdering, no baking. Then I spritz 1-2 times depending if I feel I got good coverage. This spray is really easy to overdo, but LUCKILY its easy to fix. After I spray, I let it sit on my skin for a couple of seconds and take my puff and press it into my skin. I then use my puff to mattify with powder a second time where I want more of a matte finish. I find this spray really absorbs the powder well and doesn't make it cakey, so if you over do it, most times your powder will fix up the greasy look and bring it back down. . I use the fenty invisimatte which is very finely milled. This gives me a glowy look all day and never gets greasy on my skin or bunches up even under a mask. Towards about 6 hours of wear, I would touch up areas like my forehead and t zone as it gets more glowy leaning sweaty around that mark.
HOWEVER, this spray WILL eat your eye makeup. Maybe because of the oils in it it makes the lids too wet and oily which eats the eyeshadow within the hour. I find that it doesn't eat up your face makeup though, so it must just be too heavy for the lids. If you spray your face before you do eyes and properly prep eyes with primer there's no issue. But if you don't like doing your routine "out of order" this might not be for you.
Most Helpful Critical Review Easy to overdo. The liquid inside is colored. I noticed because i would see color linger at the bottom but when I would shake it, as suggested, the color moved throughout the whole product. It has a floral almost fruity scent. It feels like a combination of both. Its nothing over powering but it is noticeable. Luckily the scent does not linger to agitate the nose. The mist on this is so wonderful that you can't even tell if its spraying on you. That being said the mist is also so fine that when you pull away you still see product particles flowing through the air. You also have to keep in mind to look at your face before you decide to spray more. This mist being so fine its easy to over do. I noticed that in the spray, the perimeter of the spray does feel like bigger droplets while the area of the spray makes the mist. I wanted to add that, like the title says, this is so easy to overdo. If you don't enjoy looking greasy either don't buy this or don't use this on the center of your face. One spray on one side of your face and another spray on the other side. That should be enough. Anything beyond those two light sprays will have you looking sweaty or greasy. This on the bare face doesn't have a heavy feeling but it does feel like it is there. This also does not seem to make my makeup last any longer.

this product is way too oily and never dries. it literally does the opposite of setting your makeup

I love a dewy finish; however, I feel like there is just so many oils in this product that it causes my makeup to separate and look crazyyyy. Especially when it settled under my eyes

It leaves little splotches on your makeup. I have super dry skin but this just makes you oily. Also melts your makeup off. it contains alcohol and is heavily scented. Definitely not good for your skin!
Melts off makeup 2

I want to love this so bad. It makes your complexion look AMAZING however it literally melts off and completely destroys any other make up on your face besides foundation and highlighter. I used this all week and my eyeshadow, liner, blush, and bronzer pretty much disappeared within a few minutes it was bizarre and I have never experienced that before. It literally looked like I didn't even apply eyeshadow or a liner. On top of that it make my mascara melt and transfer. I will definitely use this on days when I'm just needing a glow or when I'm only using foundation but won't repurchase

I have superrr dry skin & when I sprayed this on my face it made me look super oily and cakey. I thought maybe after an hour it would dry down or absorb into my skin since I have really dry skin but it didnt. I never thought my face could ever look so oily or cakey.. Don't recommend
Oil slick! 2
Kyree from Billings, MT
The spray has a pretty finish, but my makeup came off pretty quick and caused my makeup to break up and look way too oily. As a person with normal skin, I wouldn't buy this again.
Very Dewy! 3
Olympia from UT
This spray is much dewier than I thought it would be (but it is my fault for not picking up the matte spray). If you have even, clear skin, this will probably look great on you. I have acne prone skin, and it ended up looking like my face was super oily. I feel like it enhanced my breakouts more than usual. The dewiness lasts all day though, and if that's what you're looking for, then this product will be great for you.
DONT BUY IT 1

I used maybelline foundation + concealer and I saw reviews to shake well and spray 3 times I followed that instruction and still left my make up looking nasty and IT MAKES MY PORES POP OUT, I wanted to save money so I bought this one but I tried a sample of rare beauty setting spray and it works PERFECT for maybelline foundation! Rare beauty is expensive but it's worth it for the setting spray :)
Melted my Makeup & Never Dried 1
J. M. F from Houston, Tx
I've tried dozens of setting sprays and I've never experienced one like this. For one, it never really dries. If you touch your face, it feels greasy/tacky. It doesn't look like glass skin. It makes your face look like you sprayed it with non-stick cooking spray. My makeup literally DISSOLVED. I could see it breaking up like it does with my 2 step cleansing oil. Had to completely re-do. I don't recommend it.
Stay away! 1

I have combo skin and used the smaller amount. Looks like I rubbed baby oil on my face. Can't even imagine this working for someone with severe dry skin as it sits on top and does not melt into skin.
new holy grail 5

i have dry to combo skin and this setting spray is my new holy grail!!!! i recommend it to my subscribers on my channel CONSTANTLY!!!! i love it so much! im currently on my 3 rd bottle haha it last a long time tho bc you don't need a lot. 1 -2 sprays does your whole face and gives you a beautiful glass like effect without being greasy or overly tacky.

My Favorite Setting Spray So Far 5
Anjelique from Orange County
If you love the dewy look, this product is for you. My skin has changed a bit, went from oily to more combination and sometimes even dry. I've been missing the hydrated look and this fixes it. A little goes a long way

I have dry skin and when I used this it made my skin look like an oil slick. Not sure if I used too much but it took forever to dry down too
Great but not for everyone 5

I have a problem with wearing any type of face product other than blush for regular wear, but i love spraying this on my fingers and tapping it in as a beautiful highlight! I have set my face with this when i've worn a full face and it can pull oily rather than dewy but if you're like me or just want a more natural look this is worth a try!
How is this so bad?! 2
Scruff Da Pup from Lexington, KY
I have tried 80% of the setting sprays on the market, because dry skin is a burden. This is in the top 5 worst for me. It is weirdly drying and yet, can get too shiny. Not dewy, SHINY. Your skin will not look like glass however unless it is perfect to begin with. If you had to use foundation to get that perfection, this will only crud it up! This spray always manages to make my foundation look worse after I use it.
I happened to see a review that said use it over powder, and they are right. This is the only way this is halfway useful. It slightly takes away the powder look. But then, so does any decent setting spray. The L'oreal dewy one is better than this. Skip it.
If you want WET looking skin.. 4

If you want WETTTT looking skin then this is what you're looking for. I've tried the tatcha Dewey mist and that one is great however this really makes you look like you've ran 6 miles in 100 degree weather. I like to use only one spray because if you use 3-4 sprays then YOU WILL REGRET IT! This is nice to use on natural days where you're only wearing concealer because it looks like you're wearing a BB cream and highlighter after you spray this.
Soooo Oily 1
Cookie Dough 03 from Akron, OH
Ive only used this setting spray a few times but every time I use it, it leaves my skin feeling super oily/greasy. Like I put butter all over my face tupe oily/greasy. And not even after 10 minutes of having it on, it breaks down most of my makeup. My foundation is super patchy and just from me blinking, it basically takes all of my eyeshadow off and only leaves color in the creases. IMO, definitely not worth having to do re-do your entire face of makeup over.
Worst spray EVER 1
Marissa from Pennsylvania
Worst setting spray I have ever tried! This made my foundation break up as soon as I sprayed it. I had to redo my whole face. It leaves an oil on top of your skin that never dries down.
NOT dry skin friendly! 2
Scruff Pup from Lexington, KY
I have tried all kinds of setting sprays and this is one of the worst, IMO. It somehow manages to be shiny AND drying at the same time. It inevitably makes my makeup look worse than before I sprayed. I bought two of these on sale and have tried every way imaginable to get it to be useful for SOMETHING! If the planets are properly aligned, it occasionally makes powder look fresher. But then so does water and glycerin.
In conclusion, I hate this and want it dead.
I love this! 4
Hales from East Texas
This spray works best if you press it on using a sponge! If you are looking for a dewy look this is for you! The only reason I give it 4 stars is cause the sprayer is kinda messy but if you press it in like I said it works great and doesn't mess up your makeup!
Okay but not great 2
Sweaty fantasy from Pennsylvania
First of all the spray is not fine but comes out in droplets so you get oily droplets randomly all over your face rather than in an even coat. But it doesn't ever seem to dry down or melt into the makeup. It's just oily droplets that sit on your makeup which makes you look sweaty rather than glowy. You have to use your sponge to work the product into your makeup to make it look even but you shouldn't have to do all that. You can get better for the same price or even less.

Tried it...wouldn't recommend it... literally made my makeup melt off my face...the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced with a setting/finishing spray.

If you want to look like you're melting this is for you 2

I have super dry skin and almost every product in my routine is either dewy, hydrating, glowy, or moisturizing. Now I love a dew, but this is so oily and leaves the worst film on your face. Total makeup ruiner!!
